  1. Yeah, you guys be nice to the poor monotheists, they only have that one God! As for the whole discussion of education, politics and religion getting mixed up, I profess mild curiosity and a complete lack of understanding. Having grown up in a very much secular country where religion is less important than football, it is completely surreal hearing that there are people in the world wanting religion as part of their science classes, part of their govermental doctrines (didn't the Taleban just get ousted because being ruled by Sharia law wasn't politcally correct?!?) and so on I guess it's one of them great cultural divides where we are different But then, I also think that the concept of "nations" is an oldfashioned, outdated and hypocritical concept that should be abolished altogether. Go figure.
  2. And we are down to 27! Ummm wait a minute... Edit: Didn't I stress the importance of locking up the beta testers?!?
  3. Wouldn't the Ghouls qualify for the job?
  4. Why isn't Revan on the list? The guy was so stupid, everyone was running circles around him. The Jedi tricked him, Malak tricked him, heck even spoiled whiny brat like Bastila could outwit him. No wonder he left the known space to hide his shame somewhere in the outer fringes
  5. So, is this a good time to place bets what title you were involved in? You can always tell later The only title I can think of being developed and getting close to "finished" status within one and a half hour driving range of you, is Mask of the Betrayer (and that would make you an Atari employee) Of course, this could be completely off the mark and you could be working on Jumpman III for Konami, what do I know. Time will tell...
  6. Is it just me who has a feeling that there was more to the two Abishai in the bar than meets the eye? It is as if they are there for a different reason than just chit chat, I just never figured out what
  7. "Were losing control Will you turn me away or touch me deep inside? And before this gets old, will it still feel the same? Theres no way this will die But if we get much closer, I could lose control And if your heart surrenders, youll need me to hold" (Pat Benatar: Love is a Battlefield) Pheromone warfare is scary.
  8. It sounds like one of the new npcs is going to be a monk polymorphed into a chicken. What else would they need martial art chickens for?
  9. Define "small"? Lets just say, the room isn't big, but I don't exactly feel claustrophobic either. I could use a larger monitor some day (currently a Samsung SyncMaster 940N), but until I upgrade the rest of my old pc, it would be a waste.
  10. They are doing it just to tease Xard. The minor issue will be the very last thing to go
  11. I am older than Odin
  12. Having just bought Tombraider Anniversary, I've got a single game left on my "looking forward to" list and that is Disciples III
  13. I would probably end up as a ranger (with a cat as my companion). I don't socialise well, I don't like urban areas and I don't like staying in the same place too long, preferring to see what is over the next hill.
  14. I suddenly feel like Tequila, salt and a lime wedge. Stupid hotel minibar has nothing of the like
  15. Yeah, Bethesda is just as important to providing good crpgs as McDonald is to providing health food. Both commercially successful mind you
  16. Some day, I am going to find that game in a bargain bin somewhere... if for nothing else, then just the music.
  17. Older games... Forbidden Forest for the C64 (followed by a long list of C64 games) Defender of the Crown on the Commodore Amiga (followed by a long list of Amiga games) Recent games... Bloodlines, no contest Fallout/PST IWD Honorable mention: Kotor2 had a pretty decent sound track.
  18. 5 kops of cammomille tea mixed up with two thirds of a bottle of black bacardi rum. That showed my cold who is the boss here. It left
  19. Well, if its to be set in DC, monument avoidance is impossible. The place is rife with them as I assume most country capitals are. I wonder if Canberra is full of monuments...
  20. Perhaps somebody in Paris were rubbing their hands together gleefully at the thought of Royal Navy ships finally being brought down by French arms... mumbling something "Abukir", "Jean Bart" etc. in the process While war is never a pleasant affair, it was one the few modern wars I can remember being "interesting" in that was actually fought between military forces as opposed to stomping on regional dictators and their personal bodyguard/bully boys. Anybody know what the civilian casualties were, compared to military casualties?

    Vesak

So, you either need to become a Jedi or get a lobotomy to get to paradise? I think I'll go for a few more rebirths before I am ready Happy Vesak to whom it may concern
  22. Tillykke Rosbjerg Nu husker du hvem der var dine venner, ikk?
  23. So, the killing of innocents is perfectly acceptable collateral damage to you?
  24. Muahaha... the only thing left, when everything else is done, will be that one minor issue
