  1. Sounds awesome so far. I want this game and I want it NOW.
  2. It was Atari's decision to move boards to Bio, not Bio's.
  3. Well, it's OK, not everyone likes Gothic 2 either.
  4. But in NWN 'getting caught up in things' is almost borderline to being 'chosen one'.
  5. But that means PS is still 'Chosen One' in HotU, . But still, in NWN OC and expansions you became 'special' too quickly.
  6. I think that reimplementing/dumping Microsoft .NET-based toolset and overhauling UI aimed for PC users (F1-12 quickslots, mouse) is too much of an effort. Plus, NWN2 is targeted towards PC gamers. But, anyway, why should you have a 'nice' rig to run NWN2? By the time NWN2 is out you will be able to get a decent videocard cheaper, you don't have to have the latest hardware if resolution under 1600x1200 doesn't drive you crazy.
  7. I find the setting awesome and refreshing. But Planescape Torment II is a no-no. I doubt the sequel will ever have the same feel. A new Planescape game would be nice, though.
  8. Perhaps because of reading too much Volourn's posts And to separatists here. Economy of the country is tightly integrated, how are you going to stand on your own? What are you going to without the resources of the rest of Canada? What about the impact on foreign relations?
  9. How? It is not like all non-French Kanadians will move out on the day of separation. Also all business and administrative issues will take years to sort out, not to mention legislation.
  10. Do you seriously think that demographics will immediately change with separation? Territorial division will be only on paper, other things will stay the same for quite a long time.
  11. The funny thing is, local politicians are quick to jump on the issues that will generate more press, rather than the ones that are more relevant.
  12. You say that it is alive, yet refuse to hear about continuation of the series. Make up your mind already.
  13. You can sell your companions into slavery, sacrifice them onto the Pillar Skulls and much more. You will like it. ^_^
  14. SHE IS A WITCH! Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn Planescape: Torment Baldur's Gate Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal Icewind Dale
  15. But eventually, it evolves, and we will have a lot of dialects and more headaches (Why is there multiple dialects of English?). PS There is an artificial language, Interlingua, but it is not that popular.
  16. 8 and 6 respectively is decent? On topic: I liked the way BG2 had its "timers" with subquests (Korgan, Nalia, Jaheira quests). It had the impact on the gameplay, yet was not annoying.
  17. Short but good read though. Back to waiting, I guess.
  18. Well, not really. There is significant core codebase, which stays behind the scenes and is pretty stable (base for ruleset implementation, networking, data organization). I'd say, 'it is based around the old engine'.
  19. There are lots of Star Wars and Star Trek references too.
  20. I doubt it. Most likely article was found randomly by googling, from a blog, another forum, or some kind of science digest section on a news site. Meshugger?
  21. But it doesn't make the article any less pretentious.
  22. All this turns out to be the ads of some crappy book.
  23. On the other hand, merging the structure of two companies and two products like that is a really big undertaking, so my guess it won't happen any time soon. Adobe bought Macromedia, but there are still separate product lines.
  24. Prophet. But on a serious note, you don't know the new person well enough and still draw conclusions regardless the lack of basis for it. Are you seriously implying that Obsidian do not know what they are doing when assigning someone to be a mod?
  25. Sheesh. When I had dialup I managed to download stuff like this and more. All you really need is patience.
