I try to keep my expectations realistic, so NWN1 story doesn't happen again.

Are you certain that there are problems with games only? What about playing music? Static noise can be hardware problem, try moving audio connection cables a bit.

It is really really hard to apply this model (or think of a similar new one) to all games. For example a (*gasp*) WW2 shooter, where you don't have a health meter or ammo LED display.

I think they mentioned that they were considering using some 3rd party facial generation middleware for NWN2.

NWN2 Release date: :D As for screenshots, devs said that the toolset will create rooms without placeables, you add them yourself. So it is up to mod builder to give every room a unique look.

I pointed that out because that's what original poster tried to say: NWN1 had no world map, NWN2 will have it.

How so? Same setting, same atmosphere, same look-and-feel and it's just Fallout in name only. Riiiiight.

No. In fact it was identical to Fallout apart atmosphere-wise, and that's what is important.

There were no new screenshots for a very long time. Shots at Gamebansee aren't new either, however they have creature renders that I haven't seen (can be new).
