New Obsidian logo(movie clip thingy) proposal...
It's just boring... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you want to see Obsidian spend time on logo or extra game content?

Which are the worst CRPGs of the last decade?
NWN is a great game, its OC was the worst I've ever played.

Which are the worst CRPGs of the last decade?
Diablo was quite a fun series, but one shouldn't expect heavy emphasis on story and roleplaying in it. P.S. So since it is an action game and doesn't pretend to be RPG, why it is even on the list?

What Games Do you Want To See For Xbox360?
I still can't understand sometines whether you are roleplaying or just being ignorant.

Now that was some really heated discussion and some (not mentioning the names) atheists here were today as bad as religious fanatics. @random evil guy Absense of evidence doesn't prove anything, it vaguely shows the statistical significance of some particular theory. Since our knowledge base is not complete, we cannot assert non-existence of God. You seem to be very emotional about your argument, and that stems from your prejudice to religion. Yes there are reasons to despise Catholic Church, but religious people are all different.

Ummm... Because the same people post here over and over again?

Cultural suicide!
That's how you get more clicks. Would anyone read the article titled "Low birth rates in European countries likely to lead to demographic problems". I've read one article where some politician was concerned about countries expanding their nucllear programs and it was titled something like "The World Nuclear War is Coming".

Best comedy in an RPG?
Fallout has plenty of easter eggs.

To console, or not to console...
It is not snobbery. It doesn't feel right. Perhaps I'm too conservative. Aside from that, I am quite a casual gamer lately and mostly use PC for things other than games and I can't justify investing money in a game-only device.

To console, or not to console...
Yes, buying a console doesn't feel right for me too. It seems that I just will not be buying Bioware games anymore.

Cultural suicide!
The author sees cultures as some discrete units and that's where "Doom and Gloom" feel of the article comes from ("Western World dies!"). Cultures influence each other and mix with each other. The culture cannot die, it can transform or assimilate with other cultures.

To say "I think therefore I am and I am right" is arrogance. Otherwise it is a philosophical exercise.

Aha! But when you theorise, you have to assume.

Which are the worst CRPGs of the last decade?
My vote goes to NWN OC (not NWN and expansions in general).

How is assumption arrogance? It is not arrogance as long as you don't consider it a fact. We wouldn't have known anything if we don't assume some fundamental things.

For those of you that use Windows...
Viewing a specially crafted WMF file causes buffer overflow and allows to execute any code on compromised system. So any exploit using that vunerability can potentially do many things to your computer.

For those of you that use Windows...
Not as dangerous as previous bug that Microsoft GDI+ had with JPEG implementation.

I need a little tech help!
Yup I use Firefox too, but Lucius finds it slower (???) for some reason, hence I suggested Opera which doesn't have all the extensions of Firefox, but really is the fastest browser of the bunch.

I need a little tech help!
Are you all mad?! Installing IE? Install Opera (which is now completely free and no banner) before Microsoft buys it out (rumors).

I never mentioned random chance (which surely doesn't give free will). My reasoning here was that if I cannot change things on a fundamental level, then there is no free will. I can't change the molecules I consist of (and molecules of universe I'm surrounded by) as they and their motion comprise me and my actions as well as all motion in the universe. Hence all my actions and thoughts are pre-defined and the matter I consist of doesn't choose how to move, it just moves. So it is just a different level of thinking, kind of "free will at micro level". And what could give free will? I guess it will have to break our knowledge of the physics of the world we know.
