Today's state of the forum reminds me of some local pub in a small town where everyone knows each other and newcomers are not usually welcome. However as Obsidian will make more games, there inevitably will be more people who care about Obsidian's games and not this little "Code of Conduct". Hence Obsidian, as a company who is supposed to maintain a community around its product line will become stricter regarding Forum Guidelines and this little flame club will be overrun by NWN2/PNJ/<insert title here> fan clubs and the board will be closer to Bioboards model. That's how I see the future. :ph34r:

I'd lthink that a steady flow of crap games comes from any culture, it is a production thing. Culture Besides, everyone here who just said how inferior Japanese culture is, tell me, have you ever known a single Japanese person? They are normal and absolutely mentally healthy people. All conclusions that they are sickos come from the perception of "exported" bits of culture. I was exposed to both Western and Eastern cultures, and I can say there are things in both cultures that I don't like (notice I am not saying "I don't like 'em, hence they are crap"). And now somebody complained about pedophilic and other perverted tendencies in some anime. Ask yourself, why does it get translated and exported in such amount to your country? Fallout, minimalistic, but fits the game just right (also Louis Armstrong's song was a good choice.) Music is crucially important for me in forming the atmosphere. As for it being orchestral or minimalistic, it depends on the game.

Nice to see that default theme makes wiki page resizable, but the main page still could use some fixes, like flow layout instead of fixed layout. Right now I'm outside my home and I use IE, so I get horizontal scrolling on the main page with any theme.

I have a smaller screen and often have windows tiled. So nwn2wiki.org layout works better for me currently. Besides CSS styles allow to set 'max-width' for block-level elements, so combining both layout styles would actually make it perfect. Even better would be for nwn2news to use the same engine as nwn2wiki.org.

It is exagerrated. The riots take place only in few certain suburbs and noone got killed yet as far as I know. I live there, and I didn't read news I wouldn't have known a thing. And yeah, there is a tension between different cultures and races in Australia as in any multicultural society.
