Well, it is safe to assume that most people who play DnD have escapist tendencies. IMO, Israel, given their military arrangements, can afford such coarse filtering.

The atmosphere, roshan, the atmosphere. On topic: NWN2: 8 Obligatory reference: NWN1 OC would be 4 for me (garbage), expansions: SoU 6 and HotU 7.5. Never played either of KOTORs. Fallout 2: 8.5 Torment: 8.5 BG2: 8 IWD: 4 (I didn't last for more than an hour in this game).

That's what I actually thought too. Anyway, I did it with Khelgar too. Also, you can cast stoneskin on him, it will not wear out as the script behind the cutscenes doesn't make you "rest".

And now, let's get some patience and wait ~5 years until this technology hits the shelves.

Meh, I actually agree with ramza on this one. I'd prefer it to be more of Gladiator style, rather than comic book style. I don't say it will not be a fun movie, but it is not a "wow" or "must see" kind of movie.

Not only they were useful, but also made the last fight incredibly easy. All you have to do is to stand still and spam Soothing Light endlessly, occasionally making raids to Cleansing Nova + Web of Purify.

I've got a feel that the devs were running out of time when considering how to roll out this scene.

I think by the time it hits PC, I will know if it is a worthwhile game. Feels like a mix of Star Wars, Aliens, and Homeworld. The only thing that bugs me is some glowy-plastic feel to it. Sometimes too much fluff to make it look "future". PS And the I don't see why there is a problem with chick's voice, makes her a bit more believable.

I think it is the "avoiding the responsibility" thing. Because, if the customer is right, they would have to make an effort to do something outside of their daily routine.

Hey taks, aren't you good at physics? Maybe Meta?

A random dictionary word that sounded nice to me.

Hey, Riftworm, what's with all naysaying? I have yet to hear a single positive word about NWN2 from you. Or you think NWN2 has none? Anyway, I doubt that this is the end of NWN2 support. Do we have any figures on how many people were supporting NWN1, at least with patches?

You can squeeze it into 4 bits even, yeah. But then you'd be unable to use it as a bit mask to check if an alignment should be restricted.
-
I would actually prefer a "filesystem"-style inventory. Icons or list, click on headers to sort by name or type, select multiple items with shift or control, drag-and-drop.
-
I'm not quite sure I understand you correctly, but wouldn't you use 9 bits if every bit is a bit field for one alignment?

Where the hell do you find all those freaking magic bags? I have found 2 in the entire game.

Indeed it wasn't.

First, those consequences are not unheard of. Hacking has cost people tons of money, and more than one company has had to close down when their system was compromised. Second, how can you possibly say that is not the case here, when you've already conceded that none of us know anything about the details of what the hacker did? *boggle* Well, I can 100% guarantee that NASA won't be out of business any time soon. These cases are humongous time-critical systems, where a downtime of 1 minute costs millions in lost revenues. It is a different kind of attack, and different type of organization, applying these examples in our case is inappropriate. And national security is not at stake either (see previous post). Or any people's life for that matter. If any NASA's systems connected to the Internet indeed contained highly classified information and/or any vital shuttle control systems, NASA's entire IT department should be lined up and shot because of their ultra-stupidity. I highly doubt they get their money for nothing. The most that the hackers could do is to prevent scientists from analysing their data. So all we have here is combined monetary damages totalling $1.46M (and not "nearly two million bucks"). I don't disagree in principle. But again, the devil is in the details. My biggest issue was that you specifically said that he deserves all 54 years in prison. I think this conclusion was a bit hasty. Then how much murderers should get? And I think we will still end up agreeing disagreeing.

This is interesting. NWN2 voice actors/actresses: Elanee Cain (bard in Blacklake) Sand/Slaan Marshall Cormick Qara Grobnar/Vale Neeshka Shandra And last, but not least Lord Nasher! Oh, and Khelgar is the King of Shadows!

Unusual is when a spam bot starts one for you.

I am in the Vale of Merdelain. Is there any way to rest there, or I'm doomed? 3 of my characters are spellcasters.

Funny, when did I mention anything about being intellectual? CrashGirl said that one thing that I liked about the game should have been pulled out. I disagreed. Don't try to look for things which are not there. Oh, and Hypocrite.

Wow, that is one heck of a patch. Executables, libraries, texture files, fonts, even VO files were updated.

Factual evidence.
