  1. Haha! A girl? It can be interpreted in so many ways... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LMFAO
  2. If you are referring to any of the D20 sourcebooks, it doesn't say so in any I have read. And I have read most of them... except for the NJO one.
  3. Hmmm, I'm wondering the same thing. Bastilla Skywalker, I hereby officially request you to show us a photograph of yourself. I (and probably a lot of other Star Wars/RPG nerds) am honestly curious about what kind of person a female Star Wars fan is, and more important, how they look <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You sir could certainly use some fresh air. <_<
  4. Yep. I'm guessing a Force ghost appearance whose nature will be determined by the answers you give to Atton. Maybe even the encounter with the ghost of Revan marks your rise as a [insert prestige class here]. That would be a plausible story development and it would solve a lot of practical problems with Revan's appearance. Some fans would be disappointed, including myself, though. Others will just be mad at Obsidian.
  5. Those 'spoilers' are some rumors, some speculation on the author's part, and some info from that OXM mag. Nothing confirmed. I like it better that way. Nice post, though.
  6. The Jedi had a plan for infiltrating Dooku's camp and finding out the identity of the other Sith. It involved Jedi master Quinlan Vos, but it didn't turn out as expected. Just because it's not in the movie doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
  7. Vampire Bloodlines is the solution to your problems.
  8. There are degrees of darkness in dark side actions, you know. Attacking an innocent person with a lightsaber is evil. Actions like that change your nature into a soulless person, but not necessarily a puppet of the dark side (think Adm. Karath). Attacking an innocent person with the Force is an evil action performed through the dark side. That makes you evil, soulless, and a slave of the dark side. Attacking an innocent with the Force in anger, not only makes you a slave of the dark side, but also a pawn of your own emotions. In the K2 website you can read 'Your mastery of the DS is only surpassed by your animal rage'. Very enlightening on the nature of darksiders. Using the force to cause harm to living beings, be it directly through choking, lightning, or indirectly, by say, bringing the ceiling down on your enemy, is considered giving in to the dark side. A Jedi can never find an excuse to do that kind of things. In fact you will find that most Jedi masters would rather die (and yes, let others die) than use the Force with ill intent. Now, I can understand the need for some degree of adjustment to these rules in order to make them fit into a cRPG. But going past anything like Force Wave is crossing the line.
  9. Good point. Not only he used the Force to harm others, but it was totally unwarranted. He choked them to get them out of his way. I guess the GM awarded Luke a good set of DS points for that...
  10. Yep. In the D20 you could take an apprentice as soon as you achieved Knighthood, and that was when the sum of your Jedi class levels was 7.
  11. Err... Master Valor added +5 to saving throws AND attributes. Force Armor added +6 to defense and saving throws. That's it.
  12. I believe this was in fact specifically denied by the devs. Look in some of the weekend programmer threads.
  13. Which proves the point that you don't need to be level 999 to kick incredible amounts of ass.
  14. The greatest advantage of Master speed was not running faster. It added +6 to your defense and two extra attacks per round. Master valor added +4 (+6 maybe?) to defense, and +4 to all your saving throws.
  15. Evil, yes. But there's a difference between being evil and using the dark side. In the D20, you would be awarded 2 DS points for choking Han Solo. One for attacking a nice guy, and other for doing nasty things with the Force. However, taking out R2 with the Force would only get you a single DS point. The action itself is evil, but the Force is not being used to harm living beings.
  16. As I said, using the Force to harm others is considered DS. No matter what you think about it, it's what Lucas decided when he created the whole thing. You have LS powers to augment one's abilities, and you have DS powers to bring grief to others. If you like to choke people, go DS. You can't have both, sorry.
  17. You already have Force wave as a neutral power. If the Force is used to harm other living beings, you should receive DS points, so don't complain.
  18. No, I'm not going to forgive you. Just use the search function. There has been extensive posts on this topic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Funny that, with all the spam that's been posted around here, you chose to pick on the only one which is not 100% pure spam.
  19. Oddly enough, you could 'deactivate droid' on his hp tanks... ^_^ Hmm... considering he dealt near 50 dmg on each attack and always landed his blows, that would have been a challenge. Or maybe just cheap, dunno.
  20. I presume you are referring to 'Force breach'? Yes, I know of it. And no, Malak only uses it if you are beyond melee range, if not, he just pounds at you with his lightsaber. And even if he uses it, even better, 1 free round to land 50+ damage on his sorry ass. If he tears my force powers down, I retreat, bring them up again, and proceed to mop the floor with the Dark Lord. Simple, really.
  21. Jedi Watchman for me, too.
  22. How come Jedi robes aren't normal clothing? Can you provide any example in which Jedi robes provide superior protection to that offered by regular clothing? Anyway, a well planned PC doesn't really need that def bonus. Adding an armor bonus to the already insanely high defense values of the Jedi classes is overkill. Def 25 is considered to be a fairly high defense value. At the end of K1, using Force speed and Force armor, you could go all the way up to 36+ defense, with the SF/Qel-Droma robes. Short of Malak, nobody would ever touch you (Malak rolled at +38 I think). I know, not everyone is supposed to know how to develop a character into a killing machine, but that is part of mastering a cRPG as well. Oh, well... who needs Jedi robes when you have Sith pijamas.
  23. These are good news. Care to post the link to the thread/preview you got that from?
  24. So, your character sheet reads 'Jedi', but you're just another peasant low on your luck. Oh man...
  25. There is a reason to have a zero def value on a robe. The reason is, zero is the def value of the rest of clothing. I don't see how Jedi robes are different.
