Example: At DarkSide levels 25, 50, and 100 certain events are triggered. At LightSide levels 25, 50, and 100 certain events are triggered. A lightsider won't get the dark ones, a darksider won't get the light ones and the greys? They get to fly their little space ship. In fact I'm bored of both types of threads. It sucks to see the first page of this forum flooded with uninteresting and totally irrelevant topics reading 'OMG only 5 secs to go!!!!11'. I have already made up my mind and I am no longer bothered by that kind of garbage, but it's harder to keep track of the good threads that way. This is more like the LA forums every passing day...

I would like an expansion that maybe explained a bit more in depth the mandalorian war, but from TSL char's perspective, if that makes any sense with TSL plot. Like a prequel of sorts, not to K2, but to K1. It would add the character background depth so much lacked in K1, and hopefully it would clear up a bit all the Revan/Malak business in the Outer Rim, as well as giving more insights about K2 char's past and motivations.

Purchasing a lesser quality product just because one is not able to be patient for two months seems pretty silly to me, but each to his own.

Here in the Scandinavian countries we get the original voices, so that's not really an issue for us. I think the voices are only redone in French, German, Italian and Spanish. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not spanish.

Yeah, I haven't played The Fall either. Only the german version is out right now, so we'll have to wait. It's looking killer, though. About Bloodlines, I don't know if you have played it, but so far, it's got more social interaction than any other RPG I have played. The skill part is much better than K1's was, too. Don't know about K2. While I don't care very much for the FPS/RPG hybrid either, the game is still completely governed by the RPG rules, so it's not quite the clickfest you would expect. Not a worthy substitute for Deus Ex, anyway.

Just because I don't like overhyped pieces of crap like Halo 2, HL2 and SA, it doesn't mean I don't like games. I'm just very picky. A good story alone doesn't make a game qualify for GotY. K2 is pretty much K1 with new story. And since K1 already was GotY, I doubt K2 will be nominated. Agreed. The only worthy thing from HL2 is the engine. And it turns out Vampire - Bloodlines uses that very engine... "

Agreed. Considering the incredible amount of ass those 3 suck, I think it's safe to say one of them will be GotY.

How about Vampire - Bloodlines and The Fall? Not that they are GotY candidates either but they are more innovative than K2, and Bloodlines is doing pretty well in terms of sales from what I hear. K2 is going to be a very good game no doubt, but that's not to say it's GotY material.

And this is what I call an unbiased poll. No, K2 will not be GotY, and I seriously doubt it will be nominated. I don't think it will be a blockbuster and it certainly is not innovative in the technical aspect. It's just K1, with some new stuff. That doesn't qualify for GotY. Other RPGs out there will get higher ratings.

Cool. Looks like they are taking a similar approach in the romance system to that of BGII. Now if only the K2 romances are not as corny as those in BGII, we'll be in for some outstanding character interaction.
