  1. Yeah, it's very good info on the prestige classes, new force powers, new feats, lightsaber forms, force forms, and more!
  2. Along with a lot of character updates on the main Lucasarts KOTOR II website there's also a printable section from the game guide! Go to the "Gameplay" section and click on "Strategy" It is the Jedi Training Chapter and it talks about the Prestige Classes, etc.

  4. Any idea when the game will hit stores?
  5. Somebody posted this in another topic earlier today. Guess we'll have to wait till this afternoon to see if they get it or not. They did not say where they live.
  6. I've got it on pre-order at Gamestop. I just called them, and they said it ships today and they will have it tomorrow. I also called EB Games here in town and they said the same thing. So looks like D Murda is right - 6th is shipping date, not in store date. P.S. I live in Fort Worth, TX
  7. What kind of shop is it? When did the shopowner get it? (I'm asking so I can determine if I can find it here in my home town.)
  8. If I have already prepaid for it at GameStop, and then go buy it somewhere else tomorrow, will GameStop give me a refund?
  9. Kreia's voice sounds cool in the video review. And the "scary mask" person appears in a cutscene. Scion is shown in a couple of cutscenes.
  10. The video review was done by Hilary himself. (Confirmation that Hilary is a guy.) He is pretty matter-of-fact in his presentation of the review, but he is that way in the other video reviews he's done that I've seen. No real excitement(except about the philosophical issues), but no real ragging on the game except for the issues he mentions in his written review(frame rates, load times, etc.) He spends most of the review talking about influence, which he likes. He also talks about the prestige classes and how that unlocks new feats/force powers. He does end by saying "Definately a winner. One of the best RPGs you can get on XBox. Certainly get it if you liked the first one." I like the video review because it shows me actual footage from the game, how it functions, and then a few spoilers, which just whets my appetite for more. I e-mailed him to see if he cares if I share this video review. I'll let you know his response.
  11. Hmmm. You could be right. That certainly makes sense.
  12. I'm not familiar with what you're talking about there. I would assume that their content is protected by copyrights. If you have any questions about the video review, I'll be glad to answer them.
  13. Video Review Note - I think you have to be an IGN Insider member to be able to get the video review. But I have it on my hard drive . . . (There are spoilers in this video review)
  14. Hilary is a guy. Wonder if he holds a grudge against his parents for that name? )
  15. Things that sounded good: Interesting characters Influence (I liked how they showed you lose influence with Bao-Dur on the video review. I was wondering how that would work.) Deep story I didn't know there was an additional story element besides the Sith chasing you. That sounds cool. Party members you thought were with you all the way could turn on you unexpectedly. Things that sounded bad: That's a bummer. Weak ending Ease of boss battles (I liked that Malaak was hard to beat for me. He should have been, since he was the main villain. Maybe they were easy for the reviewer since he is a professional gamer. Let's hope so.) Things that surprised me: So I guess this means I would have to play it 6 times to fully experience it??!! (3 for Jedi and 3 for Sith = 6 total). I didn't expect that! Wow. And that's from a guy who plays games for a living! Who knows what it will be for a novice gamer like me? Somewhat disappointing. What I got out of the review and that has me excited is that bottom line - if you liked KOTOR (which I do VERY MUCH) then you'll like KOTOR II a lot. For me, the review didn't change how I feel about the game at my core - I know I'm going to enjoy the game, I am dying to play it, and the waiting is about to killl me! No review will change that.
