  1. The memory leak isn't area-specific. It begins when you fire up the program, and it ends when either you quit the game, or the system runs out of memory to feed the program, at which point a crash usually occurs. No. Regardless of your hardware or configuration, the intro sequence is badly scripted.
  2. No. Apparently some dev posted in the Bioboards that they were going to make some processor-heavy part of NWN2 to take advantage of dual cores. By the time NWN2 is released, dual cores will be rather common, so it only makes sense that NWN2 supports it. Also, NWN 2 = Neverwinter Nights 2.
  3. I'm a bit slow today so bear with me. What music are you referring to now? As far as I know, the whole soundtrack for the game is inside the "Licenced" folder, albeit in really low quality versions. There just isn't any more music used in the game, except for perhaps the ambient music of Downtown, Santa Monica, and what not. This is the complete list, and I have added the few locations where I remember they are played: Aerial
  4. I'll be sure to throw that in your face when you admit to buying one.
  5. Sucks for you. You missed most of the game...
  6. That'd be Isolated from Chiasm. I didn't quite like that track myself, so I can't tell you where to find more of that genre. And what do you mean you never made it to Ash's? Have you started playing recently?
  7. Are you referring to the Voermans' club or Ash's club in Hollywood?
  8. I couldn't have put it better myself.
  9. Err... hadn't considered that. :">
  10. No, it doesn't. Perhaps the older versions did, I don't know, but the newer ones take way less resources than even eMule.
  11. He's also her first student. You can gather as much from the conversation with Sion at Korriban - "She clings to hope, that perhaps she can train one as great as her first".
  12. Interestingly enough, you can see the Handmaiden take her hood down in the cutscene in which the Ebon Hawk is stolen from Citadel Station. So I guess the engine can indeed handle that kind of stuff, and we were fed some bogus story about the engine's limitations. Probably another casualty of LA's "quantity over quality" policy.
  13. Ha! The same happens to me. Now I find that leaving it on actually helps me fall asleep. Anyway, BitComet is for sissies. REAL men use Azureus. Aside from that, it's a much better client overall.
  14. Openly bashing any other company here will get the thread in question locked, at the very least. Even more so with LA, as mods are fed up of people beating that particular dead horse. Not that we'd be missing much, anyway.
  15. Um... there are no "grey Jedi". A Jedi is an adherent to the Jedi code, which neither Jolee nor Kreia were. When people stop following the Jedi code, they become fallen Jedi, darksiders, or something else. They are not "Jedi" anymore. As "Jedi" is for all intents and purposes a religion, once one stops believing in the tenets of the religion, and stops acting on those beliefs, one is no longer "Jedi". Jolee is more like a fallen Jedi, meaning he just does things his way. Kreia is just a crazy old wench, but she never claims to be Jedi or Sith. She's just crazy.
  16. Nope. I don't have that syndrome. I'm more affected by the "I hate kiddy AIM grammar" one, you know.
  17. How about you take the time to write something that actually makes sense? Considering that you are actually asking others to spend their time reading your thread and answering your questions, it's the least you could do.
  18. Is the TSLRP going to do something about those godawfully low-res skinned and modeled Sith Lords and Sith Marauders encountered in the Trayus Academy? I mean, I don't suppose OE intended for them to look like vagrants. Low-res vagrants at that. I believe Nihilus (and his Sith troopers) was supposed to make an appearance as well. But that would not make sense if you ask Visas about Peragus. I don't know if there's enough material to restore his supposed appearance, anyway. Right. fans begging for games to be released sooner always pushes forward the release date, always. The publisher's habit of favoring quantity over quality and the proximity of the holiday season has nothing to do with it, I guess. You're right. It was our fault. But hey, how about we talk about the RP and not the state the game was released in?
  19. It still makes no sense. The kind of corruption represented by the final stages of the DS transitions could only be explained by years of exposure to the dark side. The game is supposed to develop over a few weeks, not even a month, according to G0-T0.
  20. Looks to me that if Hades were to create a "bitch and whine" forum, you'd be number one poster over there. Also, congrats for hijacking your own thread.
  21. You do love those 500+ words per post battles about capitalism with taks, don't you?
  22. Well, voice can be mimicked. And the Insider article claimed that Palps' true appearance was what he looked like after zapping himself with his crazy lightning. Supposedly he was using some Sith Alchemy to keep a "normal" face. Again, his physical deterioration is supposed to be a result of long-term exposure to the dark side. Which makes the K2 hasty DS transitions from a perfectly healthy individual to a walking, rotten corpse rather dumb. And, there are no such things as logic and consistency in SW.
