For those of you that are reading-impaired: And no, I don't buy the "very busy inbox" excuse. If they have time to browse forums and lock down threads, I'm going to assume they have time to read their PMs. A simple "we're looking into it" would have been enough. But if I wait (2-3 days!), the topic in question will be more than buried when it gets reopened and it will not be worth it anyway. Sorry, nobody said that being a mod was going to be easy.

On the other hand, nobody prevents him from entering politics and including in his program the suppression of said law. If sufficient people considered it a matter of the utmost importance, he would win the elections and said law would be no more. A tyranny indeed, but it's the tyranny of the majority. Bolshevism isn't exactly the same thing as communism. While you can't draw a comparison between Hitler's nationalsocialism and Marx's communism, you certainly can between bolshevism and nazism. Edited for accuracy.

I don't remember seeing that the first time I saw the lockdown message, but whatever. I know. That's why I PM'd you first, remember?

I think one has to be an idiot to have that stuff on their answering machine in a country where it's against the law. Being that stupid certainly justifies the court's decision to extend his sentence.

You guessed it! This is yet another rant from none other than the infamously charming, mod-bashing, warning-winning board terrorist, yours truly. To be fair, this is only about one mod in particular, not all of them, but still. I have noticed that Battlewookie is prompt to close certain kinds of threads, namely the K3 threads, and any thread that has any resemblance of an unfavorable opinion regarding Lucasarts. While I understand (and appreciate) his acting on the K3 threads, I'm not quite so happy about the LA threads. I'm specifically referring to the KotOR 2 did get the shaft!!! thread that only lasted for a few hours (and the poll that followed it which lasted even less). While this thread certainly had plenty of LA bashing in it, that was not its primary aim, or at least I didn't understand it as such. But anyway, I PM'd BW about it, asking him to prune the thread of bashing, put a warning so as to prevent any more of it, and reopen it. Well, I'm still waiting for him to even reply to my PM. Surely anyone can understand why I'd be reluctant to waste any more of my time PM'ing him further when I've been outright ignored before. I mean, sure, a single poster bashing LA is excuse for closing a thread, but well... I think that if a thread can be saved, it's the mod's responsability to do so, as other mods often do. Just locking it and ignoring any questions about it passes for very, very lazy moderation. But yeah, I know. Nobody would want to continue this debate, because I'm "well adept at sparring", but that's not going to prevent me from trying, right? Edited for completion.

I think that's about it. If I'm not mistaken, It's because of the uneven electrical charge distribution in the molecule, given the difference in electronegativity between Oxygen (with only Fluorine being more electronegative) and Hydrogen. When molecules fall into place due to the loss of kinetic energy, the strong dipoles force a structure similar to that of ionic compounds. That is, a very organized, very strong net structure.

Does that mean I'll finally be able to [Force Choke] people in dialogues? Uh, wait a sec...

No idea. Don't take my word for it, though. If you have KotOR Tool, go to ERFs -> Modules -> 852NIH_dlg.erf -> 852nih.dlg. As you can see, at some point they intended for you to have the chance to join Nihilus as his apprentice, and kill Visas to prove yourself to him. It would make sense that Telos was destroyed after this, as there would be nobody to stop the Sith.
-
That's no rumor. The whole dialogue is still there, but apparently it was cut as well. It's still weird that they would put the movie in the multimedia patch, when it wasn't in the original game.

Aww, yeah! Jizzle's back! And he's got a whole new bunch of "ur mum" comebacks to boot! These boards so need more cool kids like him.

Intelligent design is pseudoscience. Therefore, it shouldn't be taught at the same level as true science. The need for a legal ruling is flabbergasting, though.

Yes, in fact that might be some kind of early Starfleet Battles PC port. Starfleet Command was pretty much like what you are describing, only in RT.

One doesn't need to insult Fionavar to provoke him.

Well, he quoted my post, didn't he? If he wasn't really answering to it, then he can ignore my reply. Ah, thanks for that. I knew it was something like that, I just couldn't find the exact name in English.

Oh, my. "poor poopy pants"? Is that the best you can do? Did you copy that from the Kindergarten Cop novelisation mommy sent you the day you managed to complete special education? And yeah, I know nobody cares about my opinions. But still, if somebody annoys me, I'm going to annoy them right back. Not that it matters much, but the powers that be don't like untidy boards. That's what this thread was all about, since you apparently have problems understanding it. Yeah, not everyone can be as cool as you and play "I don't give a f*ck about everyone else". In fact, I'm sorry for you. That's the kind of attitude spawned from parental ignorance, or inability to relate to other people normally. Do you get out much? I guess not, as you have backup "stomping grounds" where you can be yourself all the time, even when the main one is down. You sly boy, you. That was more a rhetorical question than anything else. You know, the kind of questions that aren't really meant to be answered? On second thought, forget it. I already have enough trouble making sense out of the incoherent gibberish that are your posts, I wouldn't want you to try "something fancy". As a matter of fact, don't even bother answering. Or do bother, I don't care. I'm not going to read it anyway. I have already wasted too much time with you.

Kreia is crazy. And she will drive you crazy as well if you try to follow her reasonings.
-
You read the whole thread? You're braver than me.
-
How about you think before posting? Trust me, it really helps when you are trying to make a point. I don't actually need to read his posts to find a user annoying. Such user can accomplish that by spamming emoticons, flooding otherwise fine threads with retarded responses, using annoying signatures and/or avatars, or creating stupid threads which might send good threads to the second page. So yeah, thanks for your ever so useful advice. And, at any rate, only a total jackass goes to a new place and doesn't "give a crap" about what the people there think, even more so when those people are being quite reasonable. Are you a jackass? Note that this wasn't intended as a flame to morewhatever, I was talking in general here. Unfortunately the ignore function isn't all that hot. Sometimes people will reply to the user you have ignored, and then all of the sudden, the thread makes no sense. And if you have several ignored users posting in the same thread... it's just chaos.

Did I mention the US' current political trends for anything? No, I didn't. Please stop including such blatant fallacies in your posts and don't try to use my posts as a basis to make that kind of absurd points, because that's twisting my meaning. And, as for Japan's "World Democracy" proposal, I'll believe it when I see them implementing it. So far, it's nothing but empty words and talks nothing about the supposed "enlightenment" you so forcibly want to attribute them. You know, the first "World Democracy" attempt was the precursor to the UN (whose name escapes me now), which later evolved into the present UN. And as a "World Democracy" it isn't worth jack. So, using your own twisted logic, I'd say Japan is still way behind. Wow, a long shot if I ever saw one. So, now just claiming that one culture is backwards (based on their history (recent and past) and their society) makes me a racist, discriminating bigot? Well, I guess truth isn't for everyone. You can stay in the land of chocolate, if you wish. Now that's pretty rich. So you are attempting to dispute the whole notion of a collective "culture", based on minor individual differences? Don't be ridiculous. Newsflash, pal: being able to choose the color of your pants doesn't detach you from the culture you belong to. And again, I didn't say anything about "inferiority" or "superiority". Stop putting words into my mouth, and we'll get along just fine. But then again, what'd you make your points from? I also like how you have conveniently ignored what I pointed about women in Japan, and all that whole business about schoolgirl pants vending machines. You sure know how to dodge 'em. How about you put some facts in your post, instead of assumptions pulled out of your ass? I can't talk for him, but everyone has some kind of political views. It's impossible not to, as we live in society. It's a different thing to act on those views, or get involved in political debates. Another obvious fact you chose to ignore for the sake of your little rant. Also, please point me to the post where he says that "everyone who dresses different than him are gay", or that "the bulk of the human race is garbage", because I seem to have missed those particular sentences. No more straw men, thank you.

I think he's a bit too authentic for that.

Hey kid, catch! You are not making ANY sense. You are not going to accomplish anything other than have most of the regulars here against you. This is not something you want, as it makes discussing anything next to impossible. Stop spamming the emoticons. It makes you look even more childish (if such a thing is even possible). Stop spamming, in general. Drop the rebellious attitude. It's not "you against the world". You are just being childish for the sake of it. So deal with it. "ppl" is not a word.
-
Jizzle? Is that you?
-
Well, Hilde. You believe what you want. I'm just pointing out what the investigators found. There were no political reasons to bend the evidence or misinterpret the results in a malicious way, as these results actually prove the theses of the former government, which lost the election 3 days later due to these attacks. If at all, they would have reasons to imply the opposite, as the risk of becoming a target for terrorists due to the involvement in Iraq was one of the pillars that sustained the present government's (back then Opposition) campaign. And as for why they don't hit elsewhere, well, perhaps they can't. It takes a lot of time, resources and planning to do something like that, and fortunately, it's not something easily accomplished.
-
That is a blatant, outright lie. If you are referring to islamic terrorist groups, those groups target ALL of the West, regardless of their affiliation with the US. We are heretics to them, and their "Jihad" demands that we be converted or cleansed. There have been numerous examples that prove this point, but I will give you one in particular. You see, investigations on the 11/3 terrorist attacks in Madrid (by some Al-Qeda branch or another) revealed that the attacks had been planned long before Spain became involved in the Iraq war, and would have been carried out regardless of the government's stance. Perhaps you would rather do nothing? Perhaps you would rather let them do their thing, or get in their good side? Are you sick or just perverted? Well, that's how alliances work. An alliance in which one of the members has nothing to gain isn't an alliance, it's parasitism. And a useful ally won't be considered "expendable". I don't know where did you get your notions on all that stuff, but I would suggest you don't take "Command & Conquer" as the ultimate reference guide for these affairs. Now that's just senseless gibberish. How about you go out for some fresh air? Not that it's going to take you back to reality, but if you keep it up, I fear you might suffer a brain hemorrhage.
