  1. Just try to play a spell and you'll get to roll the Arcane/Divine check.
  2. Also reported here, whit screenshot: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/87188-dzejet-skin-adding-1-extra-die-on-top-of-2/?hl=dzejet
  3. In the card game -where you can't just grind old scenarios for cards- the only decent ranged weapon I had for a long time was Shock Longbow (the single Longbow that doesn't default for its dice to your Str - which would be a d4 for Lem) . So I just had Valeros carry it around for several scenarios, then I got Lem a Weapon Proficiency and never looked back.
  4. So, I'm one of those weird people that like playing mobile games with the sound on. I absolutely LOVE the ambient sounds of each location in the game - they really drip with atmosphere and deepen immersion in the game. However, they're terribly balanced volume-wise against the other sound effects in the game (failed rolls, banished cards, attack sounds...). Every time I pump my volume up to enjoy the maniacal goblin laughter at the Sandpoint Cathedral, I'm immediately deafened by something happening on the screen. I'd love to be able to enjoy the ambient sounds (and the music, if they can be balanced properly against each other - right now, the music seems at loud end of the spectrum, as the SFX), without having to listen to the deafening and -at some point- repetitive SFX.
  5. I've taken to assigning 'severity' to the bugs - Minor, Major or Critical - by my admittedly subjective standards, which in no way should be taken to reflect Obsidian's view on the issues. Updated with: Critical: Merisiel's 'Inspired Dexterity' banishes the Blessings and resets the boosted encounter Critical, Quest Mode: the “increase Goblin difficulty” power creates lock-ups (possibly the same for Ogres?) Critical: Lockup of the game if player tries to acquire Blessing of Norgorber by check (acquisition by Bury works fine) – occasional occurrence Critical: closing General Store / Goblin Fortress (other “roll to add boons” locations?) lock up the game when closed Major: Undefeated Malugus Kreeg creates multiple copies of himself Major: summoned Rat Swarm undefeated by at least 4 shuffles into deck Major: Barl Breakbones' “discard random card” power can target displayed cards (general issue with displayed cards being treated as being in hand) Major: two Swipes cast by different heroes don't stack (the second replaces the first one) Major, Quest Mode: corner-and-defeating Black Magga doesn't end the scenario Minor: Flask of Shock: offers Recharge/Bury instead of Discard / Bury (possibly other Flasks?) Minor: two Flasks of Shock can be cast by one player on the same check (possibly other Flasks?) Minor: the AD3 Sihedron Medallion displays wrong AD number (1 or 2 – may be dependent on Sihedron presence in current party) Minor: Merisiel recharges Swipe instead of banishing it Minor: Blessing of the Gods offers 'Recharge' when copying Blessing of Zarongel Minor, Typo: on the 'Welcome to Quest Mode!' pop-up when starting quest mode for the first time, the word 'scenarios' in the first line is missing its 'c'. Minor, Typo: Ilsoari Gandethus is called Ilsaori by Orik Vancaskerkin when you have the former in a deck and find the later at the Thistletop Delve scenario. Minor, Giantbane Battleaxe doesn't add 1d10 vs. Ogres (all Giants?) Minor: Mail of Escape cannot be recharged at end of turn
  6. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but if you've checked it out - I'll mark it as fixed. Thanks!
  7. I'm pretty sure someone reported they defeated the Fort check with a standard roll, and then they got the second combat as expected, so this is probably not the issue. Rather. it seems to lie with auto-succeess cards (Amulet / Potion of Fortitude and Luckstones..)
  8. This one I believe was reported with other heroes as well (also with summoned Bandits at Guard Tower), but just in case - did you take a role for Lem and which power?
  9. Ahem. I think there's some miscommunication here. Grasp et al were talking about the cards that have the * exact* same black border as Samisen, Orik's Shield and Skinsaw Mask. All 3 of these card were *unlocked* by completing AD0, AD1 and AD2, respectivelly, on Legendary difficulty - that's why some people have taken to calling them Unlockables, and these 3 are NOT belonging to a specific deck and are not Loot (by normal game definition, maybe you call them that in internal dev lingo). OTOH, Black Arrow Longbow has a rarity border (Gold/Legendary) but it does NOT come from a chest, and is a departure from what until now was assumed to be the "system" i.e. all Legenadry runs of an AD unlock a *Black Border* card. So, from what a player can observe: the cards that get 'unlocked' - they don't belong to a deck; they're not Loot; and they don't come from a Treasure chest - so they don't come anywhere under you definition. So it this still a bug with the unlockable cards not being assigned a correct border (despite conforming to a Treasure chest rarity scheme), or are the Unlockables a different category altogether?
  10. Huh... So this explains how my Amiri ended up with 2 Hide Armors of Fire Resistance. HOWEVER, she did so on completion of scenario 2-5 with 4 characters. 2-5 grants 4 Loot cards - two of my characters got 1 Loot each, while Lem got 2 Loots and Amiri - a bonus Fire Hide. Nathan, could you shed some light behind this behavior and is it expected? Why would one character get several Loots, while another gets bonus card? (In my experience Lem ALWAYS gets the Loot, for some reason)
  11. The point was not about solo as such. I can be playing a party of Ezren, Seoni, Lem an Lini, and the random armor 'reward' would still be absurd, just a little less asinine that the Black Magga 'reward' of allies you've earned either way. (To be clear, I'm not bashing on anything Obsidian did, rather I'm venting at the original rewards in RotR - and the situation does get a bit better in the following sets. I do, however, think Obsidian have the opportunity to do away with this flawed system in Quest Mode , where they can just grant a "random card of the type of your choice")
  12. You ask me, they *should*, but in my opinion this is a design oversight when those cards were created, not an oversight at Obsidian. One of these days, I should pop the question over at Paizo...
  13. It's the latter - "X Check" means "check with the X trait" (it doesn't matter which card or power provides the said Trait). So, if you're closing a location that requires a Divine skill check, that won't have the Divine trait, and thus Fr. Z won't help? Yeah, everything is fuzzy around this, but if you are indeed performing a "Divine" check rolling using your "Divine" skill - wouldn't using the Divine skill itself add the "Divine" trait to the check. Of course characters without the divine skill are allowed to perform any untrained check using a D4 - but still it would be a Divine die check - still adding the Divine trait. Nightfind ^ This.
  14. To be fair, this is also true about Story mode as well. The game is *doable* solo, but is in no way balanced towards it, and with some heroes in particular you need a good dose of luck to beat some of the challenges presented. Also, I haven't particularly advanced in Quest mode (it bores me) but does it have the same crap as Story where you can play a solo Seoni and then you get a *reward* in the form of a random Armor (which has no way at all to be useful to that hero) ?
  15. You gotta love auto-correct. In addition to boredom, the Khol also has a different color border - that's because it's not a card from the regular game, but rather a Common Treasure card (which you obtained by opening a treasure chest).
  16. Shock Longbow and Black Arrow Longbow are not too shabby either. Also, in a bigger group, I'd just give Lem an Armor slot and deck him out with the +1 Dex Snakeskin Tunic -for me, this is is the same as taking an Item slot, as I stop carrying around teh stupid Sihedron Medallion.
  17. This is another situation where the traits and skills having the same name can cloud the intent of the designers. Does the phrase "to your Divine check" mean "check using your Divine skill", or "check which has the Divine trait", or both? (I didn't check to see if this was asked on the paizo forums...) It's the latter - "X Check" means "check with the X trait" (it doesn't matter which card or power provides the said Trait).
  18. Always remember your Pratchett Axiom: "1 in a million happens 9 out of 10 times"
  19. Because you're playing Kyre who's holy mission is to kick undead ass. She adds 1d8 with the Magic trait on ALL her rolls against Undead monsters. NB: This power seems to currently be bugged, so it may not add the Magic trait against Specters and Ghosts.
  20. Yup. More precisely: Warlord monster, or Waterfront location, or any monster after a failed Ambush barrier. Still, I thought all of these give you a notification in the side bar (with the scenario power etc.)?
  21. Don't get your hopes up - they're Veterans, they're not going anywhere.
