  1. If it's not too much trouble, could you go over Nathan's list and update your list of confirmed cards (I think only Agile Chain is missing), and maybe mark in another color the card confirmed to be in the next update?
  2. Unfortunately, my experience on exactly such checks (3d6 for 6) is I fail far too often to my liking, so I'm not calm until I have enough dice to not be able to fail. And don't get me started on the "roll d12, fail only on a 1" rolls. I'm not even kidding, this game pushed me in to the habit of looking away from the screen just not to jinx a roll - and that's on rolls I wouldn't think of twice in the normal card game. That being said, this is indeed a great resource for novice players.
  3. Now this makes me want to play a solo Amiri run. Also, she may be illiterate, but she seems pretty poetic for a barbarian.
  4. You shouldn't be allowed to play the same shield twice (because then you should be able to play it an infinity number of times) - there's a FAQ at Paizo : http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1gk#v5748eaic9rtf
  5. Other notable new appearances are Steel Ibis Lamellar (common, 5) and Brooch of Shielding (legendary, 4)(!!!). Venomous Darts +2 deserve a mention in that -- despite being a rare-level card -- they drop almost as often as basic common allies, i.e. every few chests. I think I'm up to 12. Yup, I'm up to my 3rd Brooch and the Venomous Dart into double digits as well.
  6. Yes, but Treasures are tracked separately from normal cards. I.e. there's a set amount of Treasures when locations are built (let's say 10%) - that means that all your quantities of Treasures compete only between themselves. This prevents your game from getting flooded with Treasures even if you have many un-salvaged cards.
  7. No. I don't even know who introduced the idea that the issue have to do with playing the same card, but the game doesn't care about the name of the card - it cares that , from rules 'point of view' you're playing *two Armor-type cards* (regardless that its the same card with two different powers!) - which is forbidden.
  8. Oh! In that case, allow me to refer you to my post in this thread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/87091-lini-questions/page-2 tldr: While upgrading you Berserker over Move Another is understandable oversight now is your chance to rectify this Once you've taken Move Another, you'll start seeing the opportunities for yourself.
  9. Try playing the cards. The 'chains' are just a visual indication that you'll roll Wisdom AFTER you try to play the cards.
  10. If you take your extra explore from encountering a Magic card with Detect Evil - you're forfeiting your "free" explore for the turn, which can only be you *first* explore in any given turn. If you forfeit the immediate explore from Ezren's power - you should still have your *free* explore.
  11. In SettingsAh! Thanks! Only 2 legendaries, Flask of Magic and Shielding Broach. :/ Meh. I want the AD 3 healing staffs. Yup. I also got 2 Brooches, and apparently de_mayor got 3. Talk about bad "luck", eh?
  12. Man, my condolences. Whatever is happening with their drop system, it's really messed up...
  13. So, if my theory is correct, we must be in the "Reveler days" now :D If anyone else confirms they got a bunch of Nets of Snaring while having none before - I'll take this as a confirmation.
  14. That's the one. Yup, casters are a bit screwed that way.
  15. I'm looking at the card in the Gallery. After the first sentence you quoted, there's "Otherwise, the barrier is defeated."
  16. Once I get a new card, I get dupe of that same card as well. Ebon Armor was the newest one and got 5 copies soon after. Hmm. I actually have similar observations, to the point I think chest drops are heavily dependent on large slots of time - like at least several days' worth time-span is being figured in the 'random' calculation of drops. But yeah, I'm not going to start opening a single chest a week to maximize my chances - I'd just as well stop caring and opening them at all. It has to be the way you said it. I almost made a game to see if I can get at least 2 of each card. I basically around 78% done in dupes. The chest drops are either timely based 'random' calculation of drops or they still haven't complete all the cards yet. Let's compare missing cards: So, I just went on a spree and got a bunch of new cards, maybe a dozen of them. So now, my missing cards are almost 1:1 with your list of unconfirmed cards (I also miss all the Slaying and 2 more confirmed cards, but that's irrelevant to the point) - given the quantity of those matches, this is too much to be a coincidence. So, if you got any chests stored - it might be good idea to keep them until the next update at least (unless you worry that they'll introduce the dice skins and screw your chances at cards even worse). On the other matter - for about 90 chests I haven't caugth sight of the *common* Snaring Net or Reveler. Then, in the space of a dozen chests, I got 3 of each. Yup, sure seems *random* alright...
  17. *My* Malfeshnekor most definitely says "otherwise, the barrier is defeated"; 'otherwise' referring to 'if you didn't keep any item'.
  18. Yes, but the sense of this FAQ is that you can't use blessing/ally *before* your free explore, and then *after* that to take your free explore. Unfortunately, it's not relevant to the proposition that you may *forfeit* your free explore and use an ally that you know to be more advantageous.
  19. Actually, the current consensus over at the Paizo forims is quite the opposite (although there seems to be missing an official ruling on the matter). Of course, even if you are allowed to use the Mercenary as first explore, you won't get your 'free' explore afterwards, so that kind of defeats the purpose of using him first. (Contrast that with a situation were you have examined the Villain on top of the deck, and at the start of your turn you want to explore with Velociraptor - deck 5 ally that adds 2d6 to your combat during his explore: this *should* be legal, but by current app implementation you won't be allowed to do it)
  20. This was reported and apparently the mosters don't really get the Undead trait - also confirmed for the purposes of Deathbane Crossbow.
  21. Well, other players reported not getting their Melee bonus when using Close Quarters, so there might be some merit to this.. Maybe there're two bugs: 1) Close Quarters not granting Melee if the check has the Ranged trait, and 2) ranged assistance granting the Ranged trait to a check (which would be inconsequential in most cases but here teams up with big 1) to deny you the Melee bonus)?
  22. "Taking Damage if Necessary" step is part of the "Attempt the Check" phase, so yes, it counts. And it's true that the same rule applies to damage-prevention spells, but that's why most of them say "You may play this card even if you played another spell on the check" (they're similar to the shields in that manner; so even if you didn't fight with a spell, you can play two Arcane Armors at the same time to prevent damage)
  23. The fact that it's the same card doesn't matter. For rules purposes, it counts as playing Armor card twice.
