  1. Yes, those are the ones. The Loots issue is literally the only reason you would use more than one of the Story/Party Profiles.
  2. I don't bother with DQs, but I can see how that can be frustrating. One thing I can say is - you shouldn't only play in barrier-heavy locations, you should make sure you're playing an AD1 scenario (the Daughter is AD1 iirc; if I'm mistaken - make that AD scenarios); anything higher than that adds all barriers from higher AD and really waters down your chances. Also, make sure you're carrying your trusty Crowbar...
  3. Somewhere around on the forum I read that the devs did indeed weight the drops so you can get Legendaries that "you can use" (i.e. up to the current AD# you're playing). I find this idea not a little absurd, and this could be the reason I got 4 Legendary Brooches of Shieldings in a row, sheesh. So, my advice would be , you wait until we get AD6 before you open your chests, so you don't get screwed by the weighted chance. And yeah, some transparancy on these drops would probably be more appreciated by people ready to shell out real cash, but of course - if they knew how the current system works, they would probably all wait until AD6, or they're otherwise p(l)aying against the odds; such late payments obviously working against the devs. Then again, I don't presume to tell Obsidian how to monetize their app...
  4. If you're in the same Party Profile - you will get nothing form the loot (though Harsk will be offered a special hard-coded card, which may or may not be an upgrade at this point); If you're in a different Party Profile (which you formed with your experienced Kyra), you *should* theoretically get all the Loot again , I believe (potentially getting two Loot Weapons in the same party). Note, that if you're using the same Profile - you won't get any Loot even if you have exchanged all characters in the party and they haven't completed this scenario before! It is actually a very annoying behaviour, and it's the only reason I was forced to run out of Party Profiles, where I used to run different hero-makeup parties through the same Profile.
  5. This shouldn't be possible, as only Kyra can defeat Iesha Foxglove and get the -5 bonus vs. Skinsaw Man.
  6. Important thing to know: Not every treasure card you own gets mixed into the Vault each gaming session. It is part of the dynamic Vault process. Only a specific number of randomly-selected treasure cards are available for play each scenario. The intent is that even when you're playing with Treasure Cards "on," the core of the game will always remain mostly the same. Otherwise, you'd run the risk of completely throwing everything off balance when your 35 Blacksmiths crowd out everything else. Yes it is very important this happens, or I'd only have Black Arrow Longbows as weapons. I have somehow managed to acquire 206 of them and can't salvage any. LOL. I still only encounter 1 and occasionally 2 per scenario, when I should be be encountering them 2 out of 3 cards. Wait, what? The BAL is the AD3 "complete all on Legendary reward" and by design you shouldn't be able to get more than 1 of it ever; it doesn't drop from chests to my knowledge.
  7. Just FYI for newcomers: there was a bug with Rat Swarm ever since launch, where -when summoned and not defeated by 4- it would shuffle in the location deck. I thought it was fixed, bu there you go... The "location not closed" is a new thing, but it's such an edge-case, it could've been there from the start. If I have to make an uneducated guess, maybe the DEFEATED condition is hard-coded to produce BANISH effect, and so the programmer took a shortcut and the card is coded something like: - IF defeated by {target_check}+4 or more, apply DEFEATED effect - IF defeated by {target_check}+3 , apply SHUFFLE effect (they're not using UNDEFEATED effect, so the player doesn't take Combat damage; however, they could've used EVADE effect, which is proven to work correctly with other summons (and is probably making a check "When EVADED, IF Summoned - apply BANISH; if not - apply SHUFFLE"), and would produce the desired results when applied to Rat swarm; note that both of those cases would be based on the programmer's wrong assumption that the DEFEATED condition is irrelevant, if the the final result will be a SHUFFLE effect anyway.)
  8. Well, Amiri can carry 5 weapons, so you can just look at it like an extra instance of Longsword +2 for her to equip. There are after all only so many Flaming Ranseurs +3, Giant Clubs +3, Shortspears +3.... Oh, wait...
  9. I'm not so sure Godzilla would appreciate being called a Dinosaur. Eh, you say 'dinosaur, I say 'giant lizard-like radioactive emanation of human destruction appetites, with lazer breath". Semantics.
  10. I'm not ashamed to say I want to hug you right now, Stormbringer. I hope at least they cover your therapy...
  11. Yeah, both Goblin Warchanter and Harpy suck like that. However, the Harpy has the added 'bonus' of absolutely wrecking your game on Legendary.
  12. Did you use any Item card on your combat check? In that case, the "Taking Damage" step is still part of the check, and you're still subject to the limit of "1 card per type per check". (For example: If you're playing Sajan and you revealed Amulet of Mighty Fists or somesuch to add to your combat check - you won't be allowed to play any Items to reduce the damage if you fail)
  13. Any chance of raising the Party limit too? I've played many parties in the card game, so the only challenge for me in the app is attempting solo-hero runs (which were always too cumbersome and time-consuming in physicl world) . With 11 heroes, 9 Party slots are just not enough .
  14. If you buy a 5000Gold back (sufficient for 10 Chests) -this is pretty much equivalent to what you're asking for (at current drop rates); you'll even score some treasure cards. OTOH, at this point it looks like the devs will pretty much be lynched if they get on such requests, instead of delivering AD4...
  15. Also, that whole confusion might have been evaded - I believe this case is explicitly made clear in the card game Rulebook; I don't know if it made it in the app tutorial texts however.
  16. There's a maximum of 24 characters in Story mode and Quest mode (those are 2 separate limits, not a common one)
  17. In all honesty, this doesn't prove anything besides what Trait the programmer took to be true...
  18. This is incorrect. Blessings are still supposed to add dice to a Wand - 1d6 by deafult in the case of WoSR (or 2d6 if you play Blessing of Zarongel; or if you supported it with Aid/Guidance spell and played Bo Pharsma...). Also, post-role, some heroes have powers that can add a bigger die if particular Blessing is played.. So, yeah, it's a bug.
  19. This trailer is made of certifiable awesome. Also, I now want to play with Nerd Girl! Wait, that came off wrong...
  20. What do you mean she lost her head? Its clearly sitting right there on the left, in your screenshot... Joking aside, that tentacled b*tch had it coming for some time...
  21. I can see one reason - sometimes it matters by how much you win or lose the check (see Rat Swarm and Collapsed Ceiling for example). To implement the Auto buttons, the devs should have to support two different mechanics for the same thing, and if you have Autos by default, then all exceptions would have to be identified and manually coded to remove the auto-buttons; which, imho, is too much of an overhead for an arguable benefit (an by 'arguable" I mean - certainly convenient for players, and certainly doesn't bring anything for the devs, except some small measure of goodwill for the few players that would care for that feature). And, yeah, I would LOVE an auto "reveal Animal" button for Lini.
  22. So, when can Bundle owners expect the Goblin Golem to show up in our Promo Deck lists?
  23. So, I don't know if it's something from the last couple of patches, or I just now notice but - when I enter the Story menu, I no longer have a New Party slot. I currently have 9 active parties. Is that an intended limit, or is it a bug?
  24. Usually, Aarik passes by about once a week and posts in aknoledged issues. However, if I'm getting you correctly - you're misunderstanding Frothing Rage: Normally, you take a card from your hand and bury it, to go berserk. The upgrade, according to you, seems to be that you take a card from your hand and you put it back in your deck (which is NOT a Bury action). In fact, the upgrade lets you chose if you're going to bury from your Hand OR you deck (which is probably why your deck is lighting up - not because you can "bury" into it, but because you can bury *from* it) Hope that helps.
