I don't get how EA manages to release their hockey games every year with insanely huge bugs. Two years ago you could only change or pull the home team's goalie, even as the visiting team. How does that get by the testers?

Don't forget there were these bits in Diablo where the goal was to destroy your own mouse through incessant clicking. I think they called it gameplay. Hey, not every game can be perfect!

That was weird. Anyways, that rookie got a 20 game suspension for the Macammond hit. I haven't seen video of it yet, it's kinda hard not having anything on TV, but hopefully the regular season will fix that.

Eh, you are battling demons, you are going to have an inventory system where you collect tons of junk, and you get to play online ala battlenet. It doesn't sound very Doomish to me, it sounds like a futuristic version of Diablo. Also, the more gameplay footage I see, the less it looks like a regular point and shoot FPS game and the more it looks like it's skill and stat based. Of course I could be wrong, I've barely followed it at all, just read snippets here and there and a few videos. Oh, the cut scenes are pretty epic, and that was really the best part of Diablo anyways.

Hellgate London actually looks like the closest thing you will get to the next Diablo, at least in terms of setting and atmosphere.

Give the skill stick a few more games. It's not easy to get the hang of, but in the long run, it makes a much better hockey game.

Seriously, the name calling is really bad. I mean arguing over stuff is great, we all do it here, but Hell Kitty turned to personal insults, and that's not acceptable. This is a great forum because people can usually argue in a respectful fashion, so lets try and keep that in mind.

I believe that's US only. Bah, lame. It's also rather expensive. Each TV episode is like 2 or 3 bucks. They need to create a better business model or rely on some advertising dollars. I'd pay extra per month for unlimited access to the TV shows, but I won't pay per episode.

I played the open beta of Tabula Rasa for a bit. It was pretty hard to tell if it was good or bad, mainly because it barely ran on my PC. It looked like it has potential, but I'm surprised my middle of the road PC had so much trouble with it. I wasn't expecting to run it in full detail, but I thought I'd at least have somewhat of a chance to get a feel for the game.

I just want to pop in and say Winback was one of the coolest games I've ever played on a console, and it perfected the whole cover system long before Gears of War ever came around.

I just watched Quentin Tarantino's Deathproof. It was...odd. I guess there were parts I liked. The ending was cool and I always enjoy Kurt Russel. It dragged a bit in some parts. The music was good. I guess I just don't know what to make of it. I didn't totally "get it".

Disturbia - Decent thriller, that kid from Holes and Transformers is a very good young actor. The movie was fairly weak, but he made it watchable. edit: Oh, but it was a bit of a ridiculous depiction of teachers. The spanish teacher deserved to get hit, you don't call a kid out like that in front of the class. I'm not saying there aren't teachers who do that, but the fact is he would get a ton of pressure from his administrators and fellow staff members to drop any criminal case against the kid. The kid deserved suspension or expulsion, but felony assault is a bit much.

I'm still waiting for it to be released on PC It was worth the cost of my DS alone. I also don't think it would be as charming on the PC (or a console) because it works extremely well in a handheld setting. Of course, that's my feeling with all puzzle games.

Tomb Raider was succesful. The first one is also the largest opening for a movie headlined by a woman, which would mean it earned more at opening than Resident Evil Hmm, but didn't the second one bomb? Personally I could barely watch Tomb Raider, but Milla Jovovich is more entertaining to me than Jolie.

Eternal Sonata is a bit slow, but I am out of practice dealing with JRPG's. At least it's beautiful and the music is top-notch.

Anyone planning on seeing the new Resident Evil movie? It's the only succesful video game to movie franchise out there, and I always enjoy them as a fun action flick.

Have to disagree, second best film the year it was released. Wasted the weekend with these horrible movies TMNT Smoking Aces Shooter I thought smoking aces was actually pretty good. Despite that crazy black chick going ballistic and other nonsensical stuff it was a nice watch. I wasn't a big fan of Smokin' Aces, although I enjoyed Ryan Reynolds and Ben Affleck getting shot early, but I really enjoyed Shooter. I thought they did a great job of trying to go for sniper realism, and the comedic relief guy was great.But then again, I don't take my action movies too seriously.

I picked up Eternal Sonata. Charming so far, but I only had 30 minutes to play it. If you are a fan of Classical music or JRPG's, it's a must-have.

I think Americans could do a lot more to be accepting of Islam as a major religion. Muslims face a lot of open discrimination in this country. Do people even know its Ramadan? Seriously, the US media totally ignores the beauty of Islam and focus only on negative incidents.
