  1. I will! I have a few characters I can remember: Lastly Tralgen Brashen
  2. I have all my characters on Bergeren now.
  3. I re-upped for a month, got the itch to play. It was great that I was able to transfer one of my high level characters from the east coast over to my main server on the west coast. He's a trooper, so I think I'll play him. Now to figure out what all these buttons do.
  4. I bought a new car today! Well, it's a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, but it's new to me. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I loved it, but it wasn't a very good commuter car and we recently bought a family car that fits all our peeps and stuff. So I traded my jeep for a hybrid. It's pretty high tech actually, works really well with my phone and has a microsoft label right on the dash. I haven't had any blue screens of death yet, so that's nice.
  5. If the IRS targeted liberals, they'd just end up auditing collections of birkenstocks and cars that run on vegetable oil.
  6. I refuse to get married because I think it's a stupid idea. All the gay folks getting married: welcome to hell. I've been married for 10 years, and every day has been better than the last.
  7. Can you find a link to a more reliable number? If none exist, what do you feel is closer to a true percentage? I already explained in a previous post that it will likely take generations before you have people comfortably identifying themselves as LGBT. I think the only safe bet is that number will rise.
  8. I was just pointing out that the number is misleading.
  9. Any feedback on Legends of Dawn? I know what to expect from Leisure Suit Larry
  10. Taken from the same page: I find it odd how many different categories they make up for homosexuality. You first link points to "heteroflexibility" which sounds like bisexuality to me but somehow isn't since they are "mostly straight". The second points to homosexuality, which is what I referenced in my post. I guess if your not in a sub sub sub group, you aint nothing. Uh, you are the one that linked to the wikipedia page. I simply took the next sentence in the paragraph, since your first quote was misleading.
  11. Taken from the same page:
  12. I'm sure you've met more than a few, but most of the ones I know are very private and not at all flamboyant like you see in the movies. Also, the older generations tend to avoid all forms of public affection, as they grew up in times where that behavior could get you a lot of negative attention. It's actually a bit odd, I have had three principals that were gay and only one of them actually ever discussed their partner in a social setting. Now I live in a very tolerant area, but all three of them came from different areas of the country. I talk about my wife all the time, so I really can't imagine that. I think they just tend to avoid creating situations where someone might get offended. I see this changing within a couple generations, and I consider that a wonderful thing.
  13. Being gay is not a lifestyle choice. I do not choose to be attracted to women, it is effortless (and occasionally problematic).
  14. I've done the Moaning Caverns, but that's about it in the area. The kids are a bit skittish about mines and caves at this age though.
  15. We are all a part of Fio's giant dragon beard. I burst out laughing when I heard one politician proclaim "children deserve to have a mommy and daddy!"
  16. Calax we are in Placerville right now. Actually a bit south, at the KOA. I'm a big fan of old mines, so I'll have to check that out sometime.
  17. Nevada reminds me of Tremors. We are back in California, but still in the mountains. It was a long drive, about 8 hours, so I'm pooped.
  18. I'm very happy to see this, I have quite a few friends who will sleep much better knowing they have the same federal protections as heterosexual couples. I have a buddy who is a marine that got married after they dropped don't ask don't tell, and he will gain a ton of rights for his partner when the State department enacts their measures.
  19. Day 13 - We drove through Utah and into Nevada. It was pretty empty, at one point we drove for about an hour without seeing another vehicle. Now we are in the town of Ely. Tomorrow we have a long drive to Placerville, which is back in California. I'm going to try and wake up early and just start driving while everyone is asleep. These mountains were laying down on the job. This is pretty much what we drove through for about 4 hours.
  20. Day 12 - Today is our last day in Bryce, so we took a wagon ride out to the northern rim. It was very nice, we were the only people on the ride. We got to see a lot of cows. When we got to the rim it was an amazing view. We went to a little museum in the park afterwards, and now we are relaxing back at the RV. Tomorrow we start driving home, but we won't get there until Friday so there may be a few more updates.
  21. I live off lentils since we went low fat in my household. You can do some crazy delicious things with them.
  22. What is it with you hockey people and NBA bashing, I wonder. Been seeing a lot of that lately. This is the only post I've seen on this forum that did so. But they tend to be at odds for a lot of reasons. 1. NHL and NBA run at the same time. Other sports overlap, but you don't have the playoffs happening at the same time. That means they compete heavily for audiences. 2. The NBA is the only sport the NHL can compete with in the US. In the US, NBA is #3 and NHL is #4, so NHL fans are always trying to push for more exposure to help their sport move up. This is fueled by my first point, as when you get a market with both types of teams, they have to compete for TV time. 3. As a hockey player, the fouls in basketball are hard to understand. Playing basketball as a kid was always confusing, what I considered good defense everyone else called fouling. Hockey is simply a different type of physicality. I am not saying basketball isn't physical, I'm just saying it is very different. I imagine a basketball player probably has the same difficulty adjusting to hockey penalties. In theory they should have a lot in common, but the rules are incredibly different.
  23. Day 11 - We took it easy today. We are all dried out from the desert sand and sun, my daughter's legs are a red mess. So we are just putting on some aloe and relaxing at our campsite. I ended up playing a few hours of Skyrim, which was actually pretty fun. I guess I just need to be in another state to enjoy that game. We headed back to the rock shop after dinner and Skylar picked out a geode for them to cut in half. It looks pretty neat inside.
  24. Championships are important to LBJ's legacy because he went to the Heat. If he stayed with his home town and was surrounded by average talent, then he'd get more of a pass on those. That being said, winning the last two games against the Spurs was huge. I think he needs one more to silence all the critics, but he's well on his way.
  25. You just had to voice that idea. Now it won't leave my head, and I keep thinking about different ways to **** with time travel to benefit porn. Hate you SO much. There already is some softcore series called Emmanuel in Space that does something similar. I never pay very close attention to the story lines.
