I loved those when I was younger. I wish someone would redo these games actually, the MMX treatment on Ravenloft would rock.

I'll disagree and say that they're bad movies. Well produced, but still bad. With awkward tonal shifts and action sequences that drag. I think shortening them all down to about 90 minutes would fix most of that though. You wouldn't have time for the dragging action, and it might even be moving fast enough to not notice the tone changes. But who knows.

It's weird because gender doesn't have anything to do with why I don't take Supergirl seriously. Much like Robin, it's because she is pretty much a kid version of a much more serious character. No one belittles Wonder Woman. At least, no one that doesn't want to get punched in the mouth.

It took me forever to get through the 2nd one. We had it on the DVR and just chipped away at it for about a month. I haven't even looked at the 3rd one, but I'm certainly not going to buy it. It's not like they are bad movies, just way too long.

This sounds like a tricky scenario. If you are playing an early build that has a gamestopping bug, is it fair to review based on that build when it will not be the same one sold on day 1?

At this point, I'm probably voting for someone outside of the parties myself. Unfortunately most folks will just blindly for red or blue, regardless of who wins the primary. It would be astonishing if people decided to flee the two party system in droves.

How is being dependent on Kickstarter any different than being dependent on a publisher? Very few studios are entirely self sufficient.

I wouldn't be so sure, Obsidian's plan was to make PoE self sufficient and then KS another franchise. If they KS PoE2, they are pretty much just surviving as a company. I am pretty sure they are adaptable to realize that they can follow the same very successful pattern of HBS and Larian. Why wouldn't you kickstart? It gives you a good chunk of revenue up front without a publisher, it helps you set design goals, etc.

He was cleared of any manslaughter charges. Not really surprising, given the details of the case. Being involved in a car accident where another driver dies doesn't immediately make you guilty of manslaughter, despite the court of public opinion.

Again, just a bizarre way to approach entertainment. I am just looking for good performances and a fun movie, pretty sure I will get it. Also, Mad Max was incredibly fun, if you spent any time looking for pc garbage in that action fest, I feel bad for you.

This is such a bizarre statement to me. It seems like you are looking for political correctness, just so you can point at it and dislike it. Wouldn't you rather just enjoy stuff? There was no blatant political correctness in the trailer, but you've clearly already made up your mind as to what the movie will be. That seems like a shame.

So you want to protect freedom by controlling major private companies? There are a gajillion social media options out there. Twitter will not be at the top forever, and if they make moves that end up making themselves obsolete, they get to hang out with Myspace in the has been pile. Sounds like a win-win.

Twitter is a privately owned company, they can do whatever they want in this regard. Whether that is the smartest business decision is another matter, as the more they limit it, the more they may open up space for competitors. But yeah, hardly a harbinger of doom.
