The thinking behind it is pretty nefarious though. It's meant to encourage players to become jealous of each other's gear and be motivated to spend more. It's all backed by hard data and research.
Sure, it's pretty blatant, but every commercial product is trying to get you to spend money.
Honestly though MMO's have been doing this stuff for ages. I've seen a few quests that revolve around taking part in some weird social interaction over the years.
The horse DUI is a somewhat common issue in rural areas. It's dangerous enough riding a horse near cars when sober, we had a guy down the street get killed last year on his horse after coming home from a party.
You can get cited on a bicycle as well.
edit: Horses weigh a ton. Literally. A Toyota Yaris is the same weight as a heavy horse.
Remember when people got upset about the IRS targeting conservatives under Obama? The new tax code literally named Stephen Curry, who had a little twitter spat with the President earlier in the summer. Good to see them taking the high road.
Finally pushed the The Defenders. I mean, I enjoyed parts of it, but it really dragged. Iron Fist was just terrible, and the story was just not that engaging to me. I hope Punisher is back on track.
I thought the Polish jokes came from the apocryphal story about Polish cavalry charging German tanks in WW2?
Does every industry in Poland have unions? Most tech jobs in the US do not.
I can't imagine becoming a cheater because my mates keep accusing me of that. You'd have to have super low self esteem to just become something because people say you are that.
