You dump Might - your damage sucks You dump Constitution - you have no health You dump Dexterity - You swing a weapon like you're trying to swat flies around your head. You dump Perception - "Huh...what was I doing again?" You dump Intellect - Your duration is on par with me in the sack and your AoE is roughly that of a one-legged chicken You dump Resolve - You get blown over by the slightest breeze and you end up like that kid at school who somehow managed to pick up chicken pox four times in six months.

The beta is part of the final game, yes...but that's interesting. Could be that they didn't want to put a big dragon fight in if it's to do with the story line?

The limited inventory is a great idea, makes you think about what you want to keep to hand in character inventories. Who in the ass can carry 320lbs in full plate armour? PoE adds a bit more realism to proceedings.

Nice loaded second question, OP.Tbh thats not the best example because gw2 could really learn some stuff from gw1. Seperating PvP and PvE for example. PvP and PvE are separate. It's World v World that you take your PvE character in to. GW2 did a lot of great things like dodge and the heart system. And Prodigy, thats kind of the point if that's how you feel about GW2? D&D states are a step backwards in PoE, they've done really well with the attribute system in making you create a balanced character. Imho, condition durations are as important as raw damage. Wizard level 2 spell - Web will catch enemies in their tracks for a while, although you are right about how fast bad guys move. Even thought Might dictates overall damage, you can't stack 18 and then ignore the other aspects otherwise there'd be no point in assigning attributes.
