I've found that people here are becoming more and more involved in their community and being nicer - mostly because of twitter/snapchat bragging right, but I don't really care. Nice people are still nice people, even if they are doing it for the credit.

Yeah, mostly likely kick started by Spec Ops and the likes.

I think it's more that they are too stiff - because girls with a heavy layer of makeup don't look like cadavers.

We ended up running with 750 spread out in London and the surrounding cities. The narrative evolved over the years to focus on the rise of one individual, indirectly inspired by Philip of Macedon and Basil I of Byzantium - from rags to riches - a 7th generation vampire from the 18th century, becoming the de facto leader due to clever manipluations etc. In fact it was very inspired by Byzantine feudal politics of the 9th-11th century. The players were peripheral Vampires, trying to get some power in this huge complicated system, without dying horribly a long the way. So I wanted to have this huge feudal group feel, with branching supporters, making the whole bureaucracy difficult to navigate and influence - but ultimately also have it be extremely fragile due to the sheer amount of power players involved. If I had kept it at 200ish vampires, I felt it would have been to easy for the players to see the developing story archs as they would eventually have met all of them during the 5-6 years. It ended with all of them being murdered by making the wrong allegiances a few years back. But they liked it anyway

BEST ONLINE EXPERIENCE Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare -- other than that, seems fairly predictable - where's Wasteland 2 though?

I hope not, but then again I did have a sabbatical of almost 1,5 years as well at one point.

Which then always basically boils down to "even smaller nuclear transistors".

Man, that's.. I mean, It's a great series and all, but it's very dated imo. And I think 'The Mule' might be hard to make without looking like a big fat cliche. In fact most will, as pretty much every sci-fi piece ever since has stolen everything from the story. Here's hoping though.

Casual sex has never been easier.. or has it? "The Neurotics" .. Cringey!

So kinda the academic equivalent of "my dad can beat your dad?"

That's pretty much the basis of my buisness plan. Except I keep all the monies..

So my buisness is finally off and running and I'm spending a lot (ie all) of my time expanding my network.. Today I went to the Creative Entrepreneurship Cup (big international competition and conference) trying to get a few clients onboard. It's pretty awesome doing these kinda events and spending time with innovators and entrepreneurs. There are some truely great ideas out there. Also to the Americans, your representative won the national cup! and with a neat idea too I might add.. His company is called BatteryVampire (proloning the batterylife of average AA and AAA batteries by 2x)

On whether the "magic" is there or not in CRPGs

A majority of mp players in civ 3. Complained about the tedious micromanagement of 30+ city empires... I guess they took that a little too serious. -

Mount and Blade Viking Conquest. The makers of the huge mod Brytenwalda has worked together with Taleworlds to make an actual game expansion. Cool stuff!

Time is an emergent factor of quantum entanglement. And it exists only for observers inside the universe...

He only really talked about how it started - of course the 'strong leader' who only wanted to keep power during the "transition" to communal rule had to keep that power with military might, that's pretty much the definition of totalitarian power. Interestingly there are a lot of parallels between the rise and corruption of Communism and Christianity - how they both started as a decentralized people's movement against the status quo of the elite / religious and/or economic. and then slowly evolved into power worship and centralized control and doctrine. Guess we haven't quite gotten the hang of sharing power yet.

The USSR was as communist as it was democratic.. Totalitarian States proved to be a flawed ideology. The jury is still out on actual socialism and capitalism.

Port with redbull? That's a new one.. Fonesca and Sandeman I've tried and enjoyed - and they are within a reasonable pricerange. It's just with port the price kinda seems to go in intervals >50$ for an acceptable one, 100-150$ for a good bottle to 350-500$ for the rare. I'm looking for a a brand you can fall back on in the 50-100$ range.
