Hardest thing about having a cat or a dog, they die on you.

Was talking with some people who actually knew their time to run 10, 20, ect km and tried to improve it. They have a running buddy system, you know where you pressure eachother out of making excuses to make sure everybody shows up, and asked me to join. I realised that I have never been 'in shape', not one time in my entire life and accepting would inevitably compromise the system. Maybe I should try, just for the experience. Nahh, too much work.

I used to for uploading music, since it was the premier video-sharing site at the time (and still is). Hard to do that without signing in. When I'm not signed in it looks like a 13 year old girl's myspace page. Makeup tips, every day 'hacks'. You know stupid **** you can make out of beer cans that is going to make your life sooo much easier, and cookie-whatever the sweedish 'lets play' megastar.

Remaster Fallout: New Vegas on next generation gaming system.

Can we just have another fallout game please. I've played FONW to death. -
Sooo... Flagship game for source engine 2. I don't see what else it could be.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-31716684 Am i the only one who is worried that Netanyahu can only keep track of three or four sentences at a time. Look at that pile of pages. There is room for a lot more bullet points on an A4 page than that and since everything is a punchline I don't see how one would need anything other than bullet points.

It was something like 20 $ before ? and you get access to their support network. Minor adjustment anyway probably meant to try and get their whole install base be legitimate.

A little late to the party. How does that guy keep getting his projects up? Doesn't KIckstarter look at them and notice they are ridiculous? He tried to raise 5 million for a farm. Becase they are thinking about their 5% of the 43 $ he has raised so far ?. Or it's more calculating. KS has been getting some negative press about how you never hear about the failed projects, about how they get stigmatised in what is sometimes a crapshoot of PR luck and management. Perhaps seeing projects that 'deserve' to become nothing will help.

Still battling my way through Homeworld remastered. Battling the bad mission triggers, the fights are easy enough. This is the third time I've had to sift through walkthroughs to complete a mission a certain way guaranteed to work. HW2 works flawlessly, unfortunately it's not the better of the two. It was a bit wonky when it came out, but isn't that what a 'remastering' is supposed to fix ? Did have a few wow moments along the way, like playing through the garden of Kadesh with modern graphics.

I Like both. Absolutely hate most singleplayer games designed for multiplayer coop. I'm thinking Borderlands, Dying Light, Ascreed, Farcry etc. The point of playing a couple of people together is to fight other people, not a stale AI.
-
the traditional view is that it makes a real mess of the polycount and you wind up with artifacts that are going to carry over in shading. 3ds boxmodeling is bloody hopeless though. A lot of people still swear by it as the place to start.

Well Can I ask you what your'e basing this analysis on? I didn't realize there was such a gap between Putin and the FSB, I always thought that was for plausible deniability It could be people he egged on in Ukraine but doesn't exactly control.

FEAR two had AI improvements that were pretty advanced for their time. Actually you could argue that they never got any better. Eyecandy was always more important.
-
Fear 2 was the good one if I remember correctly. After that it was cumulatively thinner soup and cheaper scares.

There has been an alien script, supposedly leaked on the internets and been around forever with just that premise. It was pretty decent actually. Ripley and Hicks going at the aliens again, who wouldn't want to see that.
-
You could try HW2 singleplayer. So far I've not been able to get past mission 9 in HW1 where there is a ship with unlimited health.
-
83 is pretty good though. You can't really ask for more.
-
Umm. I don't want to sound like a **** but isn't he too old for an acton role ?

Misson 9 in HW1 is broken too, missing trigger on the 'anomalous friggate'. Maybe AVG broke it. It seemed certain that the homeworld exe file was a virus. I know fake virus detections happen all the time with certain scripts but it's really rare to see it in a 'major' release. This is really underwhelming Gearbox. Have a look at the steam discussion. One would think surely this is the STEAM support page seeing as there is nothing but bug reports, but ... no. It goes on like that for 13 pages. If you haven't gotten this game already best wait for patches. https://steamcommunity.com/app/244160/discussions/2/ I broke my own rule and bought a game without seeing how it was recieved first, I just never imagined they would manage to break something that wasn't broken just by doing a glorified texture pack. I mean, how is that even possible.

Dying light is another example of my pet peeve about multiplayer co-op. It just plain sucks if you are not playing it in multiplayer co-op or the 'be the zombie' mode. Everything is pointless MMO repetition and the story is laughable. Is there some rule that says everything has to suck if a game has a multiplayer co-op element. It really leaves me with low hopes for ME4. Apparently it's going to be one of those as well.

One big flaw in HW1 was that the launch window didn't have any options other than launching everything or click launching. So if you had 50 fighers and 30 bombers and your MS was under attack by swarmers you would have to click 50 times to launch your figthers and not your bombers to avoid your bombers suffering heavy casualties. The same goes for corvettes. Surely there must be some way to the launch window to at least remember your hotgroups. They have the HW2 code don't they. It's fixed in HW2. Regarding the adaptive AI it does seem to get easier when your are getting weaker, but it doesn't seem radically different from how I remember it. I can't say for sure whether I think they ruined it. I think your resources determine enemy reinforcements, so if you run out the enemy isn't getting anything extra.
-
seems like something they intended but didn't complete.
-
By the way, do you get the soundtrack or do you have to hack it out of the data files like last time.
-
It doesn't say 'autogathered' anymore but you still get the RUs. I don't know about the adaptive AI. So far I haven't seen that in game but that might be because I was pretty evenly matched to begin with. But yeah, that pretty much ruined HW2 singleplayer once you had a large fleet or a lot of RUs. And it's not AI at all, it's just adaptive cheating. Whoever she is in the reboot she does a mean 'enemy captial ships detected'. Why redo the voice acting though if there are no new lines. Simply a matter of fidelity ?
