NWN plead for the developers
Why do people dislike HotU ? The best adon there was I think. Not amazing, but neither was anything else to come out for NWN.

Turn off automatic updates. Don't upgrade unless you are ready for a reboot. Or alternatively, break the circle of evil and migrate to another OS. It has to start somewhere. Anywho, the question is pretty academic for me, I have never payed for an OS in my life, my updates consist of installing newer packaged releases that include more service packs.

Unreal Tournament 3
I see, well, water under the bridge. Anyway they deserve to burn in hell for releasing it without multi.

Unreal Tournament 3
The unreal series is a multiplayer phenomenon. Unreal 2 'the awakening' was a complete turkey, I know, I had the misfortune of misreading the label and getting that instead of UT2. Unreal had multiplayer support. I thought at least the turkey would too, no such luck.

Don't think anyone cares that much about it much anymore.

Unreal Tournament 3
I haven't really gotten into UT3, I might well when I get a new computer and can run it over LAN, the new game modes are more confusing than interesting, as always, but I spent more time with the UT franchise than any other shooter. Maybe it's just dedicated multiplayer shooters that are in decline. Whatever the reason Unreal has never been able to deliver an acceptable single player experience.

The UT engines used to be the best there was for scalability as well, not anymore, but it's still pretty slick code. The time it took to make it actually shows.

Peter Jackson to produce two Hobbit movies
I think all the books still lend themselves a lot better to animation than feature films. I like The Fellowship of the Ring though, the rest of the films, not so much. I have issues with how a lot of things look, like Gimli, he doesen't look very tough beneath all that rubber foam makup. The physics look wrong. Sticking hair on a guys feet and shrinking him doesen't make him look like a hobbit, neither do elves with 5 o clock shadows inspire that much. Although the goblins in Moria were spot on to me, Frodo was ok as well somehow, maybe because of the baby looks of Elijah Wood. They did an animation of LotR already, which is not worth watching 2 seconds of, with the exception of the design of the Nazgul, quite awesome.

Muslim helps Jews attacked on New York subway
Yes well, or you can be reformed lutheran and enterpret all you like, you can even be a priest on the public payroll and come right out and say you don't believe in god, not without some uproar though.

TV: Heroes
I'm just finishing watching season 1, i'm on episode 21 or something like that. It's ok I guess, but I don't see the big fuss honestly. Better than most TV shows, but not amazing.

Movie execs are insane
Generally I agree, didn't like the Batman movies though.

Movie execs are insane
I think they kinda salvaged the Batman franchise with whatshisface from American Psycho. Best film of the series, not that thats saying a lot, but still. Whats missing from the superman script is nunchos, with the superman logo on them, he should have a fast talking black sidekick as well. I'm thinking 60 cent. Theres gotta be a rapper.

The Battlestar Galactica Thread
They meet a whole feet of these obsolete Cylon raider ships and how do they handle this, Lee says 'there was a whole fleet of these, they jumped us'. ? Budget special effects I guess. Same as in ressurection ship where we have an anticipated huge set piece battle, and all we get are like 3 seconds of action sequences. I thought Razor was ok, except that the cutting back and forth managed to ruin much of the suspense of both stories.

Is this where you see the droid from above in the control room ? The puzzle is not just moving around the droid, it's related to the console in the control room.

Reincarnation
I need some kind of tanglible evidence to believe in an immortal soul. Now, I haven\t seen any UFOs, ghosts, any Santas not paid by a department store, so I guess i\m waiting on that. Can\t rule it out though, I don\t know for sure that these things don\t exist.

More Wikipedia accusations
Given that Wikipedia has a very poor protection against special interests it manages reasonably well I think.
