It's funny how leaders become posthumously loved, like in the US president Reagan can walk on water and shoot lighting balls out of his eyes, a good 30 years after they had to contend with him as president that is. I suspect the same is happening with Blair. Both our prez and the leading opposition contender are slick mini Blairs. I bloody hate em.

Dead Space Gets Internationally Banned
It's like that 80s porn where all the guys only have half stiffies because fully erect wangs would make it unsellable in several countries.

I know the feeling. Amazon UK is your best bet for speed and inventory size. I bough a few books there. They certainly deliver to DK, although shipping costs means you probably have to buy more than one item and bundle them for it to make sense.

The heat is generated by wasted energy, but more heat as a result of poor dispersal doesn't mean you pull more power out of the socket. Does it ?.

Gothic 3
So I gave the game a decent chance, played it for over 7 hours last night. And guess what, the combat mechanics are borked, as in they do not work. Whether you are on easy, medium or high difficulty there are only two options for winning a fight. 1. Shoot them at range with a bow, and run when they get close (safest) 2. Nibble at their shins with your weakest fastest attack to interrupt them. If you don't, they will, and you will be dead in a matter of seconds. I'm trying to scrounge up enough XP to buy the shield block skill, but I'm not holding out much hope that it will stop interrupts. So far, frantic button mashing presents the only hope of winning a fight with a sword.

Cardinal sins of game design
I have one more, inability to map controls like you want them. I don't understand the benefit of inverted mouse setting, left to go left up, up, down is down, whats so hard about that One think I have never gotten used to is using WASD for movement, and mapping all the important keys around them. How hard can it be from a development standpoint to include key mapping.

Computer cooling
I surmise the fans make up an insignificant portion of the power usage. Board, CPU, peripherals take up the vast majority. Hell you can power one of those small case fans with a 12 volt battery. If you run the computer that long you might even want to underclock the CPU, and make it go into power saving mode sooner. Most important is matching the PSU to the needs of your computer, ensuring it's average output is cost effective.

Consolidated Infinite Ammo Discussion
In Hard Boiled there is this one triad soldier who looks like a Chines James Brown and cool like that. He get's it after his gun goes click. Chow Yun Fat's gun never runs out of ammo, although he reloads once in a while to provide a closeup.

Usually you only get the offer if you are already on the planned dig route for the wiring. I'm writing for the benefit of people living in houses, big cities almost always have fiber. If you don't live in Uganda that is. Installation costs are included in the subscription.

Zero Punctuation - Yahtzee reviews
Why do unskipable sequences still exist, and why are they so prevalent. It is the cardinal sin of game design. It's right up there with the secrets of the pyramids and the success of marmite.

Correcting rumors about Sarah Palin
Now we get to the point where he proves that the public health services don't work. Otherwise his observations are just irrelevant anecdotes.

Correcting rumors about Sarah Palin
Why the repetitive 'it doesn't work' mantra. It's worked just fine in my experience ever since ww2, in most of western and northern Europe.

Atari is a bit problematic for support, for one thing you have to create a profile there, and enter a serial for your game before you can even post, in return for all that bother you get the same troubleshooting general section you could have found anywhere. Patching is problematic as well, it has to be done in a specific order. When I needed help figuring out what order to patch NWN2 and install Mask of the Betrayer I posted here, I got help before any mod was helpful enough to close the tread and send me to Atari. That said, state the problem and ye shall find help, long angry tirades won't help a bit. Does anyone think there will be a universal patch with the new adons. One can hope.

Correcting rumors about Sarah Palin
Well northern Europe is comparatively rich compared to the amount of people our health care has to service. It's not a universally exportable system, it's a lot easier to be an ideal state when you are the size of Sweden or Denmark. I don't understand how people can just ignore the big picture though, how the health and welfare of everyone corresponds to having a nicer, safer place to live, where the difference between rich and poor is not as extreme as other places. It's easy to just dismiss this as communism, especially if you haven't seen it first hand.

Spore is out, and cracked, on the internets.
My local Blockbuster sells newish games already used, the company buys them cheap, cleans off the scratches and repackages them. Not the typical mom and pop gameshop operation. Keeping used sales down will allow compaies to control the price of their product.

Half my bloody income goes back in the system. I pay for it. So the higher incomes pay more, should I demand they take 60% out of my check instead. Not that I'm an angel of mercy or anything, it just seems pretty obvious that you have to make sure certain basic functions of society are run properly, if you give two ****s about the place you live in that is.
