Theres something else, The ATI certified components list lists power supplies according to the number and type of PCI express slots. They list PCIe 2x3 and PCIe 2x4 and the number of cards you can have. How does this relate to PCI e2.0 x16. 2x4 is 8, not 16. Asus Maximus Formula. it's not cheap, but it supports very cheap ram while having two pci express 2.0 x16 slots. Also, bundled with S.T.A.L.K.E.R, shadow of Chernobyl, which made me laugh. Ram 2x 2048 MB Dual Mushkin Xtreme. DUAL RAM / DDR II SDRAM / PC2-8500CL5 / 1066 MHz GFX Asus HD 4850 HDD Samsung SpinPoint T166 - 500 mb CD/R Salvaged, although I can't figure out if the board actually has an old style IDE connector. Rooting through the PDF manual now. PSU& CaseI'm at a loss here on whether to match something to my needs or go with a the Neo link 1200 PSU & Case from Aentech, which should last me through another upgrade.

I usually played with the sort of asian looking human female, cause it was the only one I could stand looking at. Theres about a handful of options if you don't want your char to have that 'violently beaten with the ugly stick' look. You could take the gray path, but if you did with a somewhat alignment dependent character, Ranger, Druid, etc, the game could shift you too far for no apparent reason and you would lose the ability to advance in your class. Only Evil or Good were safe from the system screwing your build up.

There were a lot of things about the Spirit Eater thing that made no sense at all. This is probably because the alignment system is already pretty silly, as if all you had were 8 or so choices for psychological and moral makeup. In a sense it was the bipolar jedi syndrome all over again. Either you are propper jedi, meditating several times a day and keeping you hands above the covers when you sleep, or you fillet babies and swallow their souls.

A larger power supply has a larger capacity, it doesn't automatically use more power, and I don't think you will be able to get much out of the sale of a used PS, but you do have a point. These things cost a lot and if you can find just the sweet spot of what you need it's money saved.

@Bokshi By the way, getting a e8400 @ 3.8 GHz, pretty nifty. Although you must have spent an arm and a leg on coolers. Still coolers might be as good a future investment as anything else. Is it stable, and by that I mean as a rock ?.

Bearing in mind that I have to save somewhere, no name industry standard or 9/9/9/24, or 7-7-7-20 cas corsair ram might be the place to do it. It costs barely anything, and if the actual performance difference is still negliable and I'm going to be throwing it in storage at my next upgrade anyway.. well.
