I wonder what went through the head of the person who decided to upload it on youtube.

I can still hear you...
Why do you have to use floppy drives for things like BIOS updates and Raid setups. I mean I know why, it's because some of them don't support NTFS, but really, floppies are hopelessly outdated, can't you get a regular usb stick set up as a floppy.

Help please
Mere mortals are not supposed to know what nvidia is faster than the other, this intentional fog of war regarding naming policy keeps prices on older cards up. As people simply give up and think 'ohh well, it's called nvidia, they make the best cards don't they'

EA Sticking With SecuROM
Yup. And we could all migrate en-masse to the Mac. It would be like a nest-relocation in creature Spore. Don't you mean migrate to (insert cat family OS), Mac has had PC architecture for a while now, and somehow managed to remain ridiculously pricey. If everyone migrated to Mac OS it wouldn't take long for it to be just as vulnerable.

I don't see how you could not mind paying full price for something you can install three times. I have installed all the games I own 10 times at least, and as far as I know there aren't any Danish call in lines, that would mean calling overseas to beg them to be able to install the game again. This is unacceptable to me, should be to any sane person, but that's just me.

Movies you have seen recently
The Forbidden Kingdom - 2.5 stars out of 5 Watchable youth kungfu fantasy, but not what I was expecting at all. Action scenes fun, but the plot was like a cross between The Last StarFighter and Karate Kid. Would have been quite good if they had axed Karate Kid. Jackie Chan's still got the drunken style down pat.

The Music Thread
Roy Ayers, Parliament, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Isley Brothers, The Gap Band, Bob James. Having a bit of a soul and P funk retrospective while I'm supposed to be studying.

I don't suppose you can make actual arguments as opposed to pointless juxtapositions as well... hmm.. I find the nature of Capitalism to be poignant to the matter at hand. Some people get the distinction confused and what they really mean to say is 'Something akin to western democratic countries with dominant market economies'. That is to say, it is assumed that companies won't harm or outright kill consumers to make a profit.

Baldur's Gate 3 rumor
It would be interesting to have Minsc and Viconia in your party again, the Bhallspawn shtick is pretty worn though. I suppose they could call it BG3 and have it be something else, with a few cameos and easter eggs to commemorate the past games. I wouldn't want a PST 2 to continue the story either. It would be to revisit the NPCs and the setting.

How's Warhammer Online?
I dunno, it can be both fun and challenging to play through an encounter with other players, the main problem is that there are so many anti- socials populating MMOS.

Fear this milk
It's a bit naive to just expect businesses to behave with a modicum of responsibility, plenty of examples to the contrary. Capitalism is not a self correcting equation that will solve all of society's ills. It's more like a force of nature.

More cops on the streets, does that ever work
No we should just give everyone grenades, it would be like the community policing equivalent of M.A.D

More cops on the streets, does that ever work
I dunno, they are small tight knit groups. 'Mafia' is probably what they want to be rather than what they are in reality.

Vester Bronx. lols.

Yes there are HA here, in fact the 'great Nordic biker war' between Banditos and HA, was one of the most bloody turf wars they have fought yet. Including things like firing bazookas into enemy strongholds. We stockpile these things in case the Russians invade, apparently padlocks were thought to be sufficient to keep people from stealing them.

The Witcher Enhanced Edition is out!!!
Whats in the enhanced edition, is it worth paying a third more if you could get the euro version cheap.

More cops on the streets, does that ever work
Yes, but wasn't his problem prostitution and drug selling on the street corners, as opposed to gangland shootings threatening civilians.

Apparently I'm in the middle of a gang war, if I'm to take the papers seriously. The local Hells Angels are shooting it out with various 'immigrant mafia' types for control of the illegal drugs market. There have been a few shootings in broad daylight, and now of course it's the cause de jour for any self respecting politician is to be tougher than everyone else on these gang elements. Along with the usual cries to throw them out of the country, that would be the immigrants, who always pay out good political capital when you kick them in the shin, are calls for more 'visible police' on the street. Now here is my question, why does anyone think that it's at all feasible to have the police act as bodyguards for the entire city by driving around in the streets, as opposed to working cases. Policing is 99% after the fact, the protection they provide is one of deterrence, unless they are lucky enough to have advance notice, as in a large demonstration or footie match. Does anyone really buy this stuff, are people really that stupid.
