Why in gods name does steam not download a new version of a game and then apply it instead of making the game unavailable while you wait for the download to complete, thus creating massive demands on available servers every time a popular game gets an update. Is there not a setting somewhere that can turn autoupdate off for your games ? At least i managed to find one that turns the popups off.

I've said as much before, but haven't the US been trying to kill him for a decade already. Spy drones, air strikes etc. Yes, they went in and eliminated him, that much seems obvious, and why then did they pretend it's something else. They couldn't put him on trial, a closed trial would have no legitimacy at all given their relationship, and an open trial would be a platform for him to preach from, and besides the US doesn't subscribe to the notion of international courts. If the official stance had been, 'yes we killed him, it was a military operation in an ongoing conflict'. I don't think there would have been much in the way of outcry at all. If we can't class him as an 'enemy combatant', then who, honestly.

Odds are that uranium dust is a whole lot worse for you. Banning dum dums and white phosphorous is stupid, banning cluster bombs certainly is not. Weapons shouldn't be banned because they are good at killing and maiming, that's what they are supposed to do, but a continuous health risk for the civilian population long after the weapon has been deployed, that's something else.

I suppose I could OC my way to 2,66. Or maybe it's time to buy a new box and quit trying to upgrade. On the other sys rq this high are probably a one off, for now anyway.
