Random video game news... may the dice be with you!
They rebooted development on that, so don't expect anything anytime soon. Maybe some teaser in the second xbox showcase.

@Bartimaeus Did it remind you of- The New Cinema and Movie Thread
@KP wants Blue Velvet Well now I have to watch it. EDIT: Wow! This movie starts off as a mess and all over the place, but then it all starts coming together and when it does it's so powerful and emotional that I can't help but agree with KP, it's one great movie. I won't say anything else, as I agree with KP.- The New Cinema and Movie Thread
@majestic It was as good as the trailer promised it to be, I liked it overall. Saying that, it didn't blow me out of the water or anything like that, but I have to say I like the direction Nick Cage is going with his career.- What You've Done Today - Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life

Watched Adam Sandler's Hustle. It's a perfectly fine sports movie. It kept me engaged and interested, even though I knew the plot before the movie even started.- Ukraine Conflict - "History never looks like history when you are living through it."
Is there any middle of the road source which is even a little objective... If so I haven't found it.- Build Thread 3.0

- What are you Playing Now? I name all the operations that go down in Taipei.
HoMM IV was my first interaction with the game and I remember it fondly, so I can't really attest if there was a decline after 3, but hearing that 3 was much less hero-centric and more about the units I think I would have liked it less. I would think Homeworld 2 would take that crown, but I think that you were talking about space strategy games, in which case I would agree.- What are you Playing Now? You take that back!- Build Thread 3.0
Well...It wasn't only the ram, I guess they are using the GPU nowadays to handle streams as that is the only thing that's pegged out now. I can probably force it to go via CPU through some setting, will need to look in to that. Either way I'm not buying a new GPU until the prices drop down more.- Gun control - murderer control?
Practically, it's for sure impossible. Here in Serbia, there is tons of unregistered weaponry, from pistols to bombs. There is no practical way to fix that, but there is no pressing need to do so as carrying a weapon is illegal without a license and getting a license to carry is VERY hard for a civilian. People still die from firearms, but apart from accidents those cases would, most probably, have a tragic outcome either way. As for why we don't have school shootings, I couldn't say for sure. I would not say that we have great care for our mentally ill, but maybe we have better schools systems that identify them...writing that now and thinking about it I can't say that is the case either. Maybe it's because we are not that nonchalant with guns and have respect and fear of them, children usually don't even know that there is a gun in the house and they have no other way of getting them. I think parents wised up on that after a few cases where kids accidentally killed themselves or their friends while playing with a gun. I think the US treats weapons way too casually (driving too), banning guns is not a solution, changing the public's perspective is, but I imagine that is almost impossible in the US too. Either way it should not be that easy to get a gun, or drive a car for that matter...- Build Thread 3.0
I forgot how much time that takes. I did one round the last test (hammer test) was on 50% before I interrupted... I'll probably leave it overnight if it's not too hot out.- Build Thread 3.0
Got my ram a couple of days ago, got around to installing it today. Failed at installing half of it, but once I got that sorted it booted up with the XMP profile (only has one) with no issues. Need to do a little stress testing.- warhammer 40k: rogue trader
Mmmmmm, I don't know... I think that the number of people who just skip the dialogue is fairly large, like more than half large.- Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
Not gonna lie, I'm impressed.- Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4
