  1. The results from those automatics ones shouldn't be taken as gospel. You should use them 3 time a day (after you wake up, before lunch and before dinner) and average the results over the week. We played around with those at work (friend had genetic heart issues) and would measure our bp all the time. I had a very stressful day once and measured something like 160 over a 100.
  2. Ah no, that wasn't my intention, I think it would be counter productive to force yourself to watch something that isn't working for you.
  3. You made me watch the first part of the movie again. Hmmm, fair enough it does start with cheap drama, but imo after the intro it gains more traction. Guess I don't mind those cheap tricks if they are not the whole movie, but I can see how it could spoil it for you.
  4. You can never hold ground without something on the ground to hold it. Imo, the tank is here to stay, the only question being how long it will be manned. Drones right now don't have an effective counter, ie. something that doesn't cost more than the drone it takes down. But you can look at Ukraine and, if you cut down on the BS talk, you can see that drones really can't do anything on their own.
  5. The thing is that is not that far from the truth, the good ones rarely stay in India. They usually work until they get a CV good enough to get a visa to the US or Canada. That is happening to my employer as we speak and seeing as how they don't care about abusing them I imagine it will happen to the rest of the team from India. Although they are pivoting to the EU for their workforce now. My previous employer, also from the US, imported so many people from India on a work visa, that at one point their head dev was an Indian (still is probably). The employer is a very large and wealthy, to give you perspective. Although I think they mostly hired Indians as no one else from the US wanted to work in Florida... Edit: Also there is cheap Indian labor and then there is CHEAP Indian labor.
  6. Mmmm, seeing as how half of our team is from India I don't think that will change much. Joking aside they are quality workers and when needed work 16 hours a day 7 days a week and somehow we still have too much work to handle...
  7. We had a similar meeting, where they essentially told us we are going to need +50% dev team in the very near future and we have no idea how to hire or onboard that many people.
  8. I pretty much echo your opinion on this... I'm not that in to these kind of biblical stories and as such this one was lost on me. I can't say I understood much, if anything at all.
  9. The fish is still twitching, not dead yet.
  10. Yes, just with the PoV reversed. I mean every story that could be written has already been written. I think there are like 12 story archetypes, so not that much basic variations possible.
  11. Didn't even know the boys s3 started. Giving it a go but after s2 not much hope that it will go in a interesting direction.
  12. Grabbed the GotY edition of Frostpunk.
  13. Very sorry to read that @Bartimaeus... I knew there was a story behind you taking care of your nieces, but didn't imagine it was that heartbreaking.
  14. As I said I agree that the action part could have done with some trimming, but to me it was not a deal breaker. edit
  15. Had no idea this was a game done by a Serbian dev house. Color me impressed.
  16. @majestic On the whole I agree that what you found to be the weakest part of the movie rang true for me too, but not to the same degree.
  17. New series out called RuriDragon, interesting hook but nothing wow. Could turn out to be interesting so I'll give it a go for a few chapters.
  18. You are aware that the game changed creative directors. But to answer your question there is a deleted tweet from some dev.
  19. If anyone is interested in following the Summer Game Fest formally known as E3, you can find the schedules and trailer links collected here. https://2022.e3recap.com/
  20. Fair enough. 😂 Now waiting on @majestic and his cursed vault of a mind.
