So there is potential that for the later episodes to get significantly better, once the manufactured story pieces get out of the way. But I'm still not holding my breath.

Well we only got a glimpse of Warwick, so that sucked. Either way I like Warwicks original lore much better. I can already see how his story ends in Arcane.

Last 3 episodes of Arcane... Chefs Kiss... Except the cliffhanger of an ending they left the season on. That sucked and actually made it worse for me. I was hoping that each season is self contained and that they would move to other nations, but alas that seems like it's not going to be the case.

Well here we go... My first impression is that it's a wannabe Mac OS. Control Panel is still here at least. Didn't really spend that much time using it, but I'll see how I feel about it during next week.

I misunderstood you then. I do not understand most of the changes made from the books. They strike me as cheap attempts to elicit emotions from the audience, while others don't make any sense at all. While episode 1 isn't terrible, it's not good by any stretch of the imagination.

Didn't watch it yet, but the first two books were were also very much like the lord of the rings.
