Finished The Alters. Took a little longer because I had to backtrack half of Act 2 to change the last Alter I picked. Overall a very interesting game, I was engaged until the end. The dialogue was fine, it had it's moments and not every Alter was as interesting. The big complaints I have are the camera movement and the constant clipping of terrain. Also no clue why they felt the need to sabotage the mod to have all the Alters in one playthrough. I don't think the game has enough to warrant another playthrough. Either way a cool concept and good execution.

Installed the Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC version over my existing install from 2019 so I could keep all the programs/games. Color me surprised it worked and there are no nasty issues as of yet. Whenever I get around to buying a m2 drive I will probably run a fresh install. Thanks @Bartimaeus

The biggest thing form me is this coming out of Norwegian news, the content is neither here nor there. Getting objectivity from any news article today is impossible, I just didn't expect this coming out of Norway.

I already saw the whole (mostly) story via Twitch, which has not stopped me from playing a game before, but I don't know how much interest I will have in the gameplay. The Final Fantasy combat mechanics are not something I particularity enjoy.

So far so great! Simple gameplay mechanics, but enough of them to make it interesting.

Kind of forgot I had gamepass. Looking through the library I landed on The Alters.

Finished the last mission of Pacific Drive. Had to do the game in small bits due to motion sickness. Overall well worth the money in gameplay. The story is just there. Will probably play around in Farthest Frontier until the new Anno game comes out.

I was short on laborers until I reached over 500 pop. Until then I needed to switch between farmers and labor, non stop. Kids only come in to play in late game, when you get people dying of old age, until then immigration is key. There are some relics that can make soldiers almost obsolete, at least on anything below hardest. I didn't even build any walls.

Put 30ish hours in to Farthest Frontier. The game is good for what it is, the building aspect is fun enough to keep you engaged until you reach the final tier. Don't know why they cap the population to 500 by default, game works fine over that.

How appropriate.

Skimming through GTO. It has its moments. @majestic Girls' Last Tour is getting a short series depicting the end of the world. Not too sure if that will ever get animated. There also seems to be an epilogue chapter in the last volume that I missed, or just didn't understand what it meant

For me, I don't want to give them something for nothing. What will I gain by connecting my Windows to an account. They need to actually offer something worthwhile for doing that.

Wrapped up with Control. Again I got the bug where I couldn't upgrade all my weapons even though I did all the quests, ie. missing one endless potential. Not that it matters as I am not fussed about finding all the secrets, just the interesting ones. Probably going to play Alan Wake 2 next, but I kind of don't want to have epic store...

I thought I experienced the worst a dentist can offer, but removing a tooth is a new low. The snapping sound of tooth and bone is going to stick with me...
