  1. This can be said to many people in this thread.
  2. -Maybe half of it. -They don't talk about it like you have seen it. -Yeah you said 2400, might as well said 4000. I can't find anything on those convicted Croats and you won't show any proof. So yes you are lying. I never claimed we convicted anyone, while you still claim 2400 Croats were convicted. -200 000 thousand Serbs exiled over 1000 dead, all during operation storm. You are confusing something. During that time the country was SFRY and YNA was doing was doing it's job of keeping stability in it's own country. If civilians start arming them self and harming others then of course the army is going to come and keep peace. You are making this out to seem as YNA was killing unarmed civilians, when they were in fact fighting the first Croatian and Muslim paramilitary troops. You are also confusing something else, I did not get my information from the media. I got my information from the people who fought in the war and the people who were exiled from their homes. So try and dismiss what I say all you want, it's not me who is making up ridiculous stories.
  3. I disliked the new Anders immensely in DA2. Where in DA:A he was witty and on some occasions funny, in DA2 too I was all to happy to end him.

  5. I'm not saying every granny was armed with a gun. But the people in RSK were - in general - armed to the teeth and very nationalistic and feverious. You weren't there so you wouldn't know, now would you? The exodus of the Serbs is no Ethnic cleansing. It does not fit the definition. there was no force employed from the CA, there was no grand plan. Rage as much as you want, but the world agrees with me. During this whole debate I provided 10 times more links than you. And the wiki link was a few pages back. I say again - the wiki and the world view agree with me. Indeed. That's because you haven't. You didn't address anything, and least of all his statement. Everyone except from you and your media pretty much agrees the JNA was in Croatia (including your president). And I sure as hell won't bother to prove known and factual stuff that you can easily look into yourself. -The whole world doesn't agree with you, only the loudest part of it does. -Are you claiming that you were there? -If you lied about those 4000 Croats being convicted what else did you lie about. -If you read the response where I translated the statement from Milosevic you quoted, you can see that I addressed it. Every "proof" you provided I answered. While your only answer for mine were that they are Serbian nationalist propaganda. Just ignore him, he is fishing for attention. He does this sort of thing all the time, he pops in a thread and goes "I can't believe you are still discussing this, you are so boring".
  6. No, I'm pretty sure I was saying that a blank-slate protagonist can be the best vehicle for an RPG story, since 1) you're not being corralled into roleplaying a dev-created personality that you may not relate to, and 2) there are a billion different ways to tell a good story in a video game and most of those ways work best if the protagonist(s) that the player is controlling do not come already frontloaded with narrative baggage. This is the first thing you said that i definitely disagree with. PS:T, KotOR2, MotB all are better in the story department than BGs, IWDs, and ToEEs out there. While the dev-created character or not leaves me indifferent, as both ways can work (KOTOR2 was pre defined, PS:T was predefined but with the amnesia they allowed you to roleplay however you wanted, MOTB was Player created), point 2) i'm definitely against. Stories in video games work best when they come with "narrative baggage", and are more of an introspective journey. I dislike the blank slate protagonist and it harms the story quality. MotB sidesteps this problem by allowing a blank slate protagonist, but then frontloads you with narrative baggage(just not your own) and having find the history of your contition(the past just isn't your own) and i thing is a good compromise. I would like more games using this device. http://www.cracked.com/video_18662_the-horrifying-secret-the-matrix-reveals-about-humanity.html
  7. Dota 2 doesn't have it beat on the venue or the prize pool. Not to mention the LCS, where the players have wages. I haven't played Dota2 so I can't say if it is better or not, but I do follow the esport scene and there Riot is the leader of the pack. Credit should be given where credit us due. Your phrasing, in the initial post, makes it seem that Dota 2 was the one which pushed moba in to the esport scene, when mostly it was doing follow up to Riot.
  8. I think it's unfair to say that DotA 2 added to the scope of esport as far as moba is concerned. Riot started with LoL before Dota2 and is still on a much bigger scale, esport and player wise.
  9. Pretty much everything the UK answered was already told in this thread and if you look you can find a counter response to every paragraph.
  10. Thank you for the detailed answer. I'm very happy with the info you provided. That's pretty much what I hoped for from the classes.
  11. All of Asia experienced a drop, India was hit the hardest. This started rolling before Crimea.
  12. I'm saying that your claims are ridiculous, grannies holding guns and fighting? And I'm sure we had some zealots, but so did you, in every war you have zealots. But you want people to believe, that Serbs went and killed their own people to force them out of Croatia. It sure as hell ain't that either. It's obvious to anyone, that Operation Storm had everything to do with the ethnic cleansing of Serbs. The simple fact that you refuse to provide any link for that statement all this time shows that you lied about it or that you simply cannot find any information to corroborate it and so were lied to. Be aware that I asked for any link you could find, that includes wiki. I never claimed that we jailed anyone, while you claim 2400 Croats were convicted. Show proof! That kind of thing should be easy to find, if true. I addressed Milosevics statement. You showed no video evidence. I didn't deny Vukovar. YNA was not in Croatia after it declare independence, you showed no proof to indicate otherwise. Eloquent to say the least. edit: While searching for you "convicted" Croats found this article, http://edition.cnn.com/2013/05/29/world/europe/netherlands-balkans-sentencing
  13. The safest way I've seen delidding done, was with a vise, a block of wood and a hammer. Bare in mind that you should use a proper vise.
  14. Hey, if it turns out like that, you won't find anyone happier then me. Go Paladins!
  15. The primary role of Fighters in BG and IWD was damage, now it's tanking and taunting. Damage isn't their primary role. I never said they weren't going to do any damage, but compared to the Fighters in BG/IWD they simply don't fill the same role. That is why I said it's tricky to compare. Hey I'm pretty sure this isn't a thing they said. They said that rogues and rangers are the best damage dealers, that's all. Seconded, so hard... People don't seem to realize the nature of comparison: If you build a Rogue or Ranger, then any other character will do lower damage, relative to the amount of single-target damage potential the Ranger or Rogue will have. You could still build a Ranger that's like, as supporty and non-damagey of a Ranger as you can get, and a... I dunno, Paladin, who's as focused on damage as he can possibly be, and that Paladin is going to outdamage that Ranger. If you roll one of every single character, and build them to be as damagey as possible, your Ranger and Rogue are going to be at the top of the charts. Doesn't mean everyone else is at the bottom of the charts, or that they don't do any damage in regard to being capable of felling enemies. That's precisely it. Rangers and Rogues now fill the role of the BG/IWD Fighter. While Paladins may do the same damage as the fighter, that isn't saying much because the Fighter him self doesn't do the damage he did in BG/IWD. If we then translate that to "will the Paladin do the same amount of damage as the current damage dealing classes in PoE (Rogue/Ranger)" then the answer is no.
  16. We talked about this indepth in other threads, this is the info we know so far. I never said it was 100% confirmed, but it was implied a couple of times by Sawyer when we talked about it. Fighters are tanks with taunt, Barbarians are AoE, and Paladins are buffers.
  17. Tricky question to answer. The thing we don't know is were the other classes are damage wise. What we found out so far is that only rogues and ranges do any real damage. The fighters are tanks and I guess the Paladin is a support aura class. So yes while they may do the same damage as fighters, that again may not tell us much because so far as we know damage isn't the primary role of the fighter. That is the only thing I really dislike so far about the classes. I'm fine with rogues being spike damage dealers, but I would have liked for the fighters/barbarians/paladins to have a more consistent damage output, that is higher then rogues regular attacks.
  18. Man the claims you make, armed grannies and zealots? Really?! Not always but damn near every time. You can't find anything either, can you? So much for those 2400 convicted Croats. Because you were Catholic and we were Orthodox. Show me were you read about that shield of Europe thing, or at least what country called you that? Wait..so did you just accept the fact that we were fighting the JNA? As in - there were JNA forces in Croatia? Are you changing your tune now? Earlier you were claiming that there was no JNA presence in Croatia and we were only fighting civilians the whole time Sorry to burst your bubble, but the JNA was there the whole time. In large numbers. And it didn't help them. At all. Are you slow? When did I say that YNA wasn't in the war, did you even read what I wrote all this time? YNA wasn't in Croatia, after it was recognized as being independent, but it was in Bosnia. So no I'm not changing anything, it's just your comprehension skills are not up to the task it seems. My claim still stands. So no, YNA and their zealot grannies were not in Croatia and no, Croatia didn't singlehandedly win the war, in fact it's contribution was only the ethnic cleansing that took place at the end of it. I see you have degenerated to pictures now. I fear you will be using crayons next.
  19. Let the armor butt-hurt commence!
  20. Are you even listening to your self? OK, so you dismissed two of the links with "credible" excuses, and when you couldn't find a fault with the third one, you dismiss it just because. Damn dude, you really are brainwashed.
  21. Well ww2 era guns must be heavy armaments for the mighty Croatian Army. And here I was thinking, you are going to prove your claims by showing those videos. Occam's razor. I see you still avoid showing proof for your claims. I did try to find some source to corroborate your claim, couldn't find anything. A person would think that you would be all to happy to show proof for you claims, instead you think calling me lazy is gonna prove anything. What invasions? Shield of what. Are you serious? The only reasons for which they didn't attack you was because they had heavy losses from their conflict with us. If you count small raids from the Ottoman empire as a war, then sure be proud. Oh right you had a battle, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Krbava_Field. Again do you really think you did anything during the war? If you count burning villages and chasing away civilians, then yes your mighty Croatian army sent us home crying. Be real, had not the West intervened you wouldn't have stood a snowballs chance in hell of doing anything, let alone defeating the YNA (Especially if the main and the largest force joined the war). The only reason the conflict started was because your country had guarantees from the west that if you started a war they would come.
  22. If they did physical copies, yes. But they are still going to have to pay those fees + pay Paradox for its work. As far as I understood, they teamed up so Paradox would handle the marketing aspect of the game, not so much the distribution, which now days is simple to do, on account there being Steam, GoG and other clones.
  23. They are going to take a cut from every copy sold which means less money for Obsidian, which means they need to sell more games. Unless they made a contract whit a fixed amount of money, which I doubt.
  24. Damn, I really thought they were gonna self publish. Well this puts even more pressure on the game to succeed.
