That would be an epic failure for PoE if it didn't sell any copies on release. I expect 200k of initial copies sold, but some(most) people here seem to think that PoE will sell 1 million. I don't think it is. Remember that Dragon Age was supposed to be Baldur's Gate gate spiritual successor too. If PoE shows it self to be the better spiritual successor, it could seriously gimp DA in the PC market (where it is already down for the count).

I played the first 2 hours of D:OS and I just couldn't get in to it. I still have it installed because of the word of mouth, but I will need to get really bored before I slog through the begging of the game. So yeah, the opening of the game is really critical.

Well that may be ok for you, but I doubt it's what riot wants. If it was, toxic behavior would have been dealt with in Season 1. Riot wants to rehabilitate toxic players, ie. they want to keep them playing their game.

Will there be different difficulty levels in the beta? I imagine that would be something that opinions could be given on too.

I have been playing LoL since after the beta and I have rarely had an experience with that level of toxicity. Anyways as a veteran of the game my advice is to use the mute button, it will make your games much better.

XP is xp, doubt it will matter much. The only problem is that you can't scale difficulty for doing an objective without combat. Wut? Anyways, heart of fury mode was meant to be played as a new game+.
