Episode 11 of Delicious in Dungeon. This episode marks the real start of the main story and it goes off with a bang. From here on out it's a wild ride.

Considering that magic discovery is what primarily interests her, I would say not very. More apt description would be lonely, I think.

Dune 2. Chef's kiss. I don't know why people are saying that the ending is open ended. They showed a lot of teasers for Dune 3 through the movie. Again I am wondering if he is crazy enough to try and do book 4.

The Gentlemen netflix series. If you like Guy Ritchie movies, you will love the series. At some point he will have to do some different though...then again maybe not. -

Safe travels. -
Delicious in dungeon has started touching upon the main story in the latest episode. Do wonder if the plan is to cover the whole manga, otherwise I can't think of a good spot to stop with the number of episodes they have.

What You've Done Today - We do not remember days, we remember moments

Ah, well sadly that is not unique either. Grandma doesn't listen to a word we say. We beg, shout and plead, but it doesn't matter. Oh she will accept it and promise whatnot, but will then turn around and do whatever she wants. There is a good saying, we are born as children and we die as children. -

Strong personalities/people tend to be afraid of going down the road of slow decline and having to depend on someone else to help them do basic things and in some cases they are afraid of becoming a burden. My grandma is like that. She is strong as an ox, but sadly her heart is not up to the task anymore. But still she doesn't want to let up and does a lot of stuff day to day that wring her out by the end or simply crash her. On the one hand it's speeding up her demise, on the other it's keeping her occupied and alive. Her wish is a quick death and not a slow process that takes her down piece by piece. -

They will not destroy it, but maybe crash it. Which may not be a bad thing. -
Sadly those are the tame ones. I remember hearing about a video of some Russian teenager beating his wife who was sadly killed at a later date. There are a lot of death and violence videos that don't get removed. Instagram is even worse on this point, because it offers those videos in your feed.

What are you Playing Now? - Back to the Grind

Did another play through of Disco Elysium. Will probably do the last part again with the other partner just to experience it. -
I know I watched it, but I don't remember anything from it apart from Jim Carrey being in it and it not being a comedy. Will give it a go.

But boy do they have a throat on them!

Maybe the issue is that you already read the book, so it's not living up to what you imagined when reading it? For me there plenty of memorable moments in the movie. Starting from the first father/son interaction when going off the home planet, to meeting the matriarch, to his father being betrayed and then killed, meeting the Fremen and the duel. But I have to admit that his set oftentimes overshadows the characters, but I would not say it's because they are bad, but because his sets are so good.

I'm gonna rewatch Dune again before seeing the second part and see if I can spot what you guys are talking about, but yeah I don't really get what you are talking about. What do you expect to see in a desert planet, or is it mostly the color balance that ticks you off. I also thought the acting was fairly on point.

It is. I need to get around to reading Children of Memory. I started it but never got back to it... -

Fairly popular right now. People describe it as having the complexity of PoE but not requiring a degree in ARPGs to understand it's system. So much more friendly for new people.
