Vailian not Valian Thread titles do not have dots (".") at the end Vailians claim godlikes neither male/female because of infertility, so this one is really tricky (source: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/65334-a-few-world-lore-questions-item-submission-help/?do=findComment&comment=1425420). But there might be an easy explanation: simply all godlikes are sterile which makes them different as a whole, and only few other kith (e.g. humans) may become sterile, hence double standards. In POE universe it is impossible to have interracial offspring such as half-elf, and this is what Aloth is saying *flies away*

So you're saying that all is good, 'cause Vailians are from equator and migrated south, and Aedyrans are from other regions and migrated to equator. Even if that is the case, there is no logic behind that: Why would Vailians change their comfy equator zone for a colder one? Why would Aedyrans change their comfy temperate zone for a tropical one? Convenient switch is convenient

Hence this topic. *** And now for another inconsistency: AEDYR Aedyr derives its name from "many dear". It also lies on the equator, lots of jungles, the place it quite warm and damp, so this is even resembled in the clothes Aedyrans ware. BUT WHY are there so many deer on the equator? Shouldn't such a creature prefer more temperate regions? AND WHY people living on the equator are caucasian? Shouldn't such a region have black inhabitants (like Vailians)?

Ditto. Endless Paths did nothing to get me more interested while descending. I'm somewhat a completionist, so I clear that dungeon anyway, but the whole thing is a place that got its lore and story made up quick and very late in the development.
