List of typos/spelling mistakes/grammar/inconsistancies thread
As mentioned in the other (wrong) forum: Where: Sure-handed Ila Nocks her Arrows with Speed's tooltip Current: Increases reload time and speed of ranged attacks for all allies. Expected: Decreases reload time and increases speed of ranged attacks for all allies. Unless, of course, the entire point of the skill is to make all your stuff fire at once then somehow make you worse off reloading. I sure hope not! Edit: Oh, uh, also Headbomb, shouldn't the thread be saying inconsistencies?

Repost: Options Display Bug

Options Display Bug

Inaccurate Tool-Tip and Description Reports
Think I'll just create this for anyone to use, while reporting on text I find that looks off or not correct. For Chanters, should it really say that it "Increases" reload time in Sure-handed Ila Nocks her Arrows with Speed? I mean, it might, but that sounds counter-productive to me. Edit: Just saw the actual bug report forum . Sorry!

Randomly enlarged letters bug
Noticed a bug where characters in clickable text randomly became enlarged. It started with the T in Continue when speaking to the apothecary, but eventually snuck into the game menu (Options, Graphics, etc) when pressing Escape.

Options Display Bug
Got the same bug, options flicker away once chosen. Using an Nvidia GTX 560 ti if that affects anything at all. Windows 8.

Beta Release Time
Soon, my lovelies. Soon we shall all prosper.

Beta Release Time
I wouldn't think so, unless they run into some catastrophic error at the last minute. More likely reason they haven't said a definite time yet is because they know those always get missed or create a huge amount of people who try to access the sites at the same time meaning they can't get their keys anyway. That or they just work to get the things out as soon as possible as appropriately as they can once they get into the office. No real timetable there.

Will likely pass on this game, but am looking forward to a possible proper cRPG
I've been looking for a good game for my tablet that isn't a F2P mess, and this looks quite like what I need. Hoping for something neat out of it!

Next Obsidian Kickstarter
Isn't the rights to that with Activision-Blizzard? (Sierra was bought by Vivendi who was sold to Activision). Unless you mean "Arcanum 2 in spirit and not in actual IP" in which case, carry on. Absolutely, the most important bit is the passion one. A game they can enjoy making is at the top of my wishlist. And uh, one that can make money at the same time, to keep them afloat. Everything else is just gravy. And if that was an Oglaf game they better voice all the characters themselves. Chris would make a great Sandoval.

Guess the release date!
February 14 2015, since we're all going to love this game.

thank you!
Hoping to see lots more kickstarters like this from you guys. If not, I'll just try throwing copies of the game at friends/enemies.

Obsidian Project to be announced at GDC 2014
If the new kickstarter shows up in Mar I will be very happy indeed, since that's a month I'll be seeing a larger payday. I'll be able to back with more!

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
Bit strange that the stretch goal thing wasn't implemented, but maybe it was just too much work to get the campaign going again, what with finalizing pledges and all.

New stretch goals for companions and wilderness areas?
I managed to upgrade my pledge when I first logged into the site and went through pledge management for the first time. Though it does seem like you can only upgrade at that point. Afterwards it seems like you're stuck. I really hope there will be a way to upgrade pledges or at least add some stuff on. Not that I could offer TONS more money than the 180-ish dollars I already pledged but still. RSI have shown that pledge additions after a funding period can work, though it might be trickier in a non-MMO setting.

Do not forget the happy endings ;)
So what we're all saying here is we'll pay 500 dollars each for more endings? I can get on that bandwagon.

Patching the Non-Steam versions
I actually made post in another thread asking about this, but I didn't know he'd found a fix Good to know!

Why Unity 3D?
Old topic, but it seems to fit the question I had in mind: Recently, the kickstarted game Conquistador's creator said that the patch he was making for the game was running into some issues patching the gamefiles directly, requiring a complete reinstall with the newly patched files. This apparently wasn't an issue on Steam for some reason. Is this just a case of the guy not knowing how to handle the engine or is this a real, serious limitation for games made with the engine?

THQ is dead
As long as the game is coming out, I'm happy. Not that it's one I'm particularly interested in buying, but it isn't looking bad either and just wasting all that potential and work would be awful.

What are you playing now?
Hehe, just keep playing, first a few levels are just "meh" like you said. But then things will get Serious Edit: Ima playing Strike Suit Zero just bought it yesterday, I realized how i missed space sims... Its a bit focused on action but god, action it is. Grand scale battles with multiple objective(that actually hard!) and ability to morph into a robot (GUNDAM!) is really good! Story is a bit meh but gameplay made me forget about it. Also back to Path of Exile, played it a while in closed beta and now in open beta with a new, fresh act. Really good game considering its free to play. A friend of mine was lead programmer on Strike Suit Zero, he's a slight rendering genius - I hear the game is very pretty! With crazy large ships. I remember the fun he had writing a deferred renderer for it , and the shadowing - which nobody had thought about. I haven't played it myself, but it looks like some old skool fun. I'm waiting for the updates to hit, much like with The Cave (I own both). Tried them but I want just a teensy bit more polish before I devote a ton of manhours into it

Money in Project Eternity: Get Rid of Adventurer-Based Economy
evilmiera replied to fkldnhlsdngsfnhlsndlg's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I'm a bit split on this. On one hand, I can see why lugging around hundreds of thousands of goldpieces or whatever passes for currency would feel weird, or that there's no real way to properly spend it all without introducing goldsinks. But on the other hand, there's always that human bit of greed to finding yet another bit of wealth to add to my virtual collection. I suppose gaining favor with various factions could be used as currency, but again that's just shifting the problem over to a new definition.
