Ooh I like prognosticating, so a decade from now, Ill throw my hat in the ring for fusion power. Overnight the worlds energy problems will evaporate, fossil fuels will disappear, wars will cease to be fought and the Earth will return to its pre-industrial age climate. Unless a Russian hypersonic missile veers off course and destroys the prototype reactor.

I think theres been a small cultural shift just in my lifetime. We used to play "cowboys and indians" and run around the blocks with cap guns literally having play gunfights. Now you never see kids playing like that (including mine) and I dont know if you can even buy a cap gun nowadays. Meaning, the culture of "playing guns" has changed from my perspective.

But dont people eat cheeseburgers and ice-cream because they are too poor and cant afford to make a decent meal? I mean, you can get 5 cans of porn-n-beans and feed everyone in your house for the same price as a single Whopper, but math is hard so I probably dont understand how that works other than "its not their fault". Or maybe when you factor in the price of the cooking pot and natural gas then it skyrockets in cost? I dunno, but it sounds like something UBI would eradicate overnight.

Speaking of candy related obesity, Im 74" (187.96 cm) and I recently porked up to 219 Lbs. (99.3367 kilo) and it was all due to my love affair with gummies and chocolate. Ive managed to drop 5 pounds (2.26796 kilo) by regulating my intake but I feel and look best at my fighting weight around 209 Lbs. (94.8008 kilo (heh the end of that number is boob)). Ill probably never be able to get over this hump without cash money. :sadface:
Actually, muscle weights more than fat. Back to square one again I guess. It seems that all human failings circle back to lack of money, not the individual...obesity, illness (mental and physical), homelessness, lack of education, addiction, crime, etc. The only realistic solution is to throw money at it. Id really like if the UBI and UHC could start with me and my generation so I dont fall into any of the previously mentioned pitfalls of life. You dont want me to have a crack addiction do you?
