The length of the game doesn't bother me. Its more a case of every time I think about playing one of them I feel like I'm going to get buried under an avalanche of choices and learning curves. Then I go fire up D3 or Grim Dawn and giggle as I splode mooks. Having never played a single Paradox title, and seeing you guys talk about their other titles, also discourages me a bit.

Im really tempted to buy Stellaris but I know deep down inside it will join Endless Space, Galactic Civ I & II, Homeworld Remastered and Sins of a Solar Empire in my Steam libray of unplayed games.

Im not sure where the end of the story is with Grim Dawn. I killed Loghorrean but there doesnt seem to be any more map to explore. Ive also only purged 25 shrines and I know there is at least 3 more out there. Am I missing something?

How do various damage modifiers work in Grim Dawn? For example, I was playing around with adding mats/enchants to my weapon and I notice a particular material offers lets say +18% Poison damage. Does that mean it will add an additional 18% worth of poison damage to to my damage total or that it will buff poison damage by 18%? Meaning, if my rifle isnt doing any poison damage on its own, is this buff wasted?

In Grim Dawn there is a certain dungeon (the name escapes me) that requires a Skelton Key, can only be entered once per, and seemingly gets harder the lower you go(?). Is this a bottomless dungeon or is there an eventual end boss? I made it to "Anguish" level, is there much more? I'm level 50 and I ran into Lord Executioner and he literally smote me in one shot.
