In the US, if the employee earns tips then the employer is not bound to pay the Federal minimum wage. For example, my daughter is getting of the age to work and looking into a local restaurant shows that they pay ~$3.75/hour and the rest of the employee income is dependent on the customers tips.

A lot has to do with the cost of living in your area. $15/hour in CA or NY may be reasonable but its not in less expensive locales. Im curious to see if it drives independant vendors out of business.

Nope, never played it. So how is it used in-game? Lets say I find a moldy tome deep in some forgotten dungeon and I open it to find....that language above. Do you guys really sit there and translate word for word what the language is saying? I cant see myself ever doing that, but I don't get as "immersed" as a lot of others.

I prefer direct sunlight and a cloudless blue sky in the mid to lower 80's. Meanwhile I live in IL. I dont mind the cold so much but snow can go straight to hell. I took my car in for emissions testing and got my plate stiker renewed. Then took my daughter to see Civil War in 3D and it was pretty entertaining. I wasnt even aggravated by the 2h 26m runtime so it did something right.

The length of the game doesn't bother me. Its more a case of every time I think about playing one of them I feel like I'm going to get buried under an avalanche of choices and learning curves. Then I go fire up D3 or Grim Dawn and giggle as I splode mooks. Having never played a single Paradox title, and seeing you guys talk about their other titles, also discourages me a bit.

Im really tempted to buy Stellaris but I know deep down inside it will join Endless Space, Galactic Civ I & II, Homeworld Remastered and Sins of a Solar Empire in my Steam libray of unplayed games.

Im not sure where the end of the story is with Grim Dawn. I killed Loghorrean but there doesnt seem to be any more map to explore. Ive also only purged 25 shrines and I know there is at least 3 more out there. Am I missing something?
