Well, I was being a bit facetious. Of course I too think a 9 year old outdated article doesn't represent todays real world capabilities but you cant really argue with math. I don't know who the dude is who wrote the article but maybe those deficiencies can be overcome with todays algorithms and computational horsepower? People don't like PRISM because "waaaaa, me privacy is invaded." I for one feel it should be in use in all places of US interest and at all times. Let the computer weed out the garbage and act on what seems plausible. Works for me.

Good memory! Even factoring in my significant bias, shes pretty good at creative writing and wants to pursue that field. I would greatly prefer she looked into fields with more real world applications, but hey, gotta let dreams flourish.

Shes a big fan of Jameson's Charhouse so the family and extended family are gathering there tonight. Having a 16yo is a study in being ignored. Yes, shes allowed to date and I absolutely meet the boyfriends. Thanks! She wants to go to Columbia College IL, so I'm not looking forward to that. Its not totally outrageous but still like 10k more / year than Illinois State.

Ive never actually been hunting. I hate the woods and I'm kinda a Sally when it comes to killing stuff. Seriously, for some reason I will even take the extra steps to trap and release bees/spiders/wasp that may wander into my house instead of just smashing them. I don't have any ethical problems with hunting, I don't have that mentality in me. But Ill eat the hell out of anything you put in front of me just so long as I don't have to do the "wet work".

Nope not joking. For me, joining the Navy changed my life. I had graduated high school and was going nowhere fast as a dishwasher and had no prospects for higher education. Joined up, spend almost 8 years, and got schooled as an aircraft electrician. Hell, these college grads with their fancy scmancy degrees could join up as officers! No offence to our esteemed vets, but I would highly recommend a service like the Navy or Air Force over the Army or Marines as there is a much lower probability of splosions.

You unemployed bums ( ) should go join the military. Get an average or better score on the ASVAB, and youre guaranteed three hots and a cot for life, with vocational training thrown on top!
