Its probably just me, but it seems counterintuitive to conduct an interview in front of a graveyard full of your troops that stretches as far as the eye can see.

The forecast has gotten worse in the five hours since your post and they updated the article: "The "very destructive core" of the storm will bring "extreme" wind gusts of up to 315km/h (195mph) in parts of the Kimberley and Pilbara regions, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said." 195mph is nutso!

Agreed, all crimes should be prosecuted. Except for the miserable who went to prison for a long time for stealing a loaf of bread. That right there is messed up. "The boat, with 222 rooms, has been refurbished since it was criticised as an "oppressive environment" when the Dutch government used it for asylum seekers. Bibby Marine, which owns the barge and will lease it to the government, said there was a laundry and a canteen on board - and all the rooms have a window, bed, desk, storage and en-suite." Sounds pretty nice to me. We should float a whole bunch of them of the coast of San Francisco and Portland to help out the homeless.

The near future is going to be very interesting as drones become smaller and more swarm coordinated. I love the Trophy system (Trophy (countermeasure) - Wikipedia) for conventional AT weapons, but something like the Stryker Leonidas (Stryker Leonidas β General Dynamics Land Systems (gdls.com)) will need to be incorporated into armored brigades to handle the drones. Imo, lasers arent the answer. Maybe for ballistic/supersonic/cruise missiles, but not for drone swarms.
