Those rat bastages made me cut down a tree in my front yard a few years ago (well, they paid to have it cut down and removed). I had planted it years ago when it was knee high and now it was towering. "Waa, we cant see your house number." "Waa, its way over first floor your roof line." 👎- What You've Done Today - Yesterday is but today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream.

Jackpot! on Prime. Hmm, once we got use to the premise we both liked it. Plenty of laughs too! Im a fan of both lead actors and thought they both did a good job.- Obituary thread

Thanks for the recommendation! I think I felt that each following season had diminishing returns (same for True Detective) but I was kinda interested to see the season with Kim Kardashian. TBH, Im not even sure if our cable package still includes whatever channel AHS moved to so Ill have to look into it.- Ukraine Conflict - continuing

This is my experience. Now it may be different nowadays, but I was born and raised a long long time ago in the reddest of redneck states, Florida. Both my parent and extended family were racist in our everyday life to the point that it seemed normal. Like dropping the n-word in casual conversation wasnt at all unusual. It wasnt until I joined the military at 18 and got out of that forsaken state, and actually got to meet and know different races, that I could look back and see the errors of my upbringing. I said it before and Ill say it again; monkey see monkey do. Racism is 100% learned.- Funny Stuff - It is the ability to take a joke, not make one, that proves you have a sense of humor

I rented out the first house I ever owned for three years before the tenet ask me if they could buy it, which they did. Ive heard lots of horror stories but I had a great experience being a landlord. Of course I hired a realtor to handle it for 10% of the rent. Ive always had a dream of owning a 3-flat, renting out two of them and living in the third, all free due the income of the two rentals. - Obituary thread
