Well, you all know where I stand in this. Apple makes overpriced rubbish for fashion-aware people with no common sense whatsoever. Not to mention that mac-users are all a bunch of smug twits. And the reason everyone on tv is using a mac laptop is because apple sends them crates of them for free, to try and obfuscate the fact that their real users are obnoxious idiots. Oddly enough, my best friend who is very technicly savvy and not smug in the least started using macs a few years ago when he got one free from his job. Personally, I think the American healthcare system is GREAT as it is. If poor people cant get medical treatment, they will slowly but surely die out until there is not a single pesky poor person left. And by then, we will have an army of solid-gold robots to do our chores for us, so the grass will still be trimmed and the garbage taken away. And, you can safely buy all the smack you want from the internet and have it delieverd right to your door instead of having to risk being mugged when trying to score some in the bad parts of town. Everybody wins. Its not like here in Sweden were we just hand out free kidey transplants to everyone who wants one. I cant even pay extra so I wont get one from a black person.

Both RE5 and LP use Capcoms "MT Framework" engine/toolset. Supposedly, they're using it for all of Capcoms future titles. I dont know if they license it to other developers, its possible that they use middleware that they dont have the rights to distribute.

Today I saw that episode of Chuck, where he has to play "missile command" to get the codes that are hidden in the game. But it really pisses me off that they've imagined some fictional japanese guy as the game creator when it was made right in the US by a guy called David Theurer(mostly anyway, some other guys helped too). That's just wrong to take away someones hard efforts like that. Sure, its a fictional show, but millions of people out there now think Missile Command was a friggin nintendo game!

And for out American people; if you didnt already know it, we dont have juries in Sweden. In this legal instance, theres just the judge and two officials. And in this trial one of those officials was kicked out for having ties to the anti-piracy lobby. So there was just this judge and another guy.

Theres been some new information out that the judge in the trial is an active member of three separate copyright lobbyist groups, together with most of the people from the plaintiff side. The whole trial now stands a good chance of being declared a mistrial on account of obvious partisanship on the judges side. No wonder the sentence was so harsh. This is really, really rotten and a sign that our legal system desperately needs an overhaul. There is no english language news about this yet, sorry.

Im playing this new game, but I dont think I should tell you what it is because it could very well be the new "so damn hyped and overrated it will make you vomit in your mouth". I can only reveal that its available on steam and its really weird.

Well, I think a good rule of measure regarding what is and isnt torture is to make a simple inquiry: Have the japanese made porn of it yet? If they have, its torture. They've never been able to implement naval invasions. If they could have done it, it would have been in the games by RTW. We are just going to have to accept thats its not possible until CA completely rewrites the engine. And what are these gameplay bugs? The only one Ive found is that theyve switchedstats between 2nd and 3rd ships of the line. Everything else has been smooth. Diplomacy usually doesnt work, but I cant remember a TW game where you could negotiate with the AI, they'll never ever give up land or more advanced technologies no matter what... unless, they came with the offer

You should know that the rumours about ETWs supposed bugginess are grossly exxagerated. The way people are talking about it here its like its some russian indie game that crashes if you click too fast. Ive had a total of 2 crashes for aboot 50h playtime, and that was alt-tab related and 3 patches ago.

Rome and Empire is my recommendation. And Medieval 2 is just an update so youd do better to get that one and never touch MTW1

Its a good game but the horrible voiceacting does take away a great deal of that. It is without a doubt the worst Ive even encountered in a game and Ive seen a lot.

The FPS combat was horrible, they clearly meant for you to use VATS. I liked vats, it just got a bit much with the constant slowmo closeups.
