  1. With that philosophy you can start a 1000 new wars worldwide. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It could be fun. WW3 wouldn
  2. The historical reason is that Palestine was, with a few exceptions like the crusades, under Arab/Muslim rule from about 635 AD up until when the Ottoman empire gave it up to the Brittish in 1922. Thats it right there.

  6. Lies. I will now say exactly how its pronounced. "Wuuolleee-wuuolle-bluuuarghck!" thats pretty much it.
  7. The NR controller will send much much more complex information, such as tilt and full 3D positioning and aiming, over greater distances. But what could be the greatest problem is the precision of the positional sensors that will detect where on the TV you will be pointing it. But thats just me being pessimistic, it might work like a charm.

  12. Ill believe it works when I try a NR and the controls prove to be precise and responsive enough to allow me to play something like Q4 with it.
  13. but neither Chuck nor Diesel can strike a pose like this in pants like those

  15. Its just that the whole DIY approach to laptops is a little complicated.. infinetly more than with a regular PC
  16. Thankfully we Swedes have our own word for them "b
  17. It certainly sounds good, but Im not sure this will actually work until I get to try it. I mean purely technical you have the issues of repsonse time and precision. Being able to aim with the controller or tilt it and whatnot is amazing but not if the console doesnt react with 1:1 precision and a delay of no more than a few milliseconds.
  18. Its true of all Laptop manufacturers, you can buy RAM, extra batteries or even a Hardrive or dvd but specific parts like fans are a no-go. And why does everyone call them "notebooks" now? Wasnt "laptop" flashy enough?
  19. The video clearly says "mockup" so this is just an example of how you theoreticly might be able to use the controller. But the pictrue I get is that Nintendo will focus on nintendo-esque games, purely console games, and not run ports of PC games or even games that follow the model of classic PC genres such as FPS or RTS.
  20. Youre never going to get that. IF, K3, against all odds, ends up getting funded and developed it will be released sometime in 2008 at the earliest(if production would start tomorrow) at which K1&2 will be long forgotten and so the devs will start over and so K3 will most likely have nothing except the brand name in common with previous games.
  21. When I play D&D, I put my head in a brace so I can only look at the miniatures from one angle for the entire game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Im ashamed but I actually broke down in a fit of maniacal laughter when I read that. It could have something to do with the fact that Ive been fiddling with Isometric level design the whole day. :">
  22. Meh! Why would you buy some fancy engine-thingie when you can do breathtakingly amazing graphics like this Completely genuine proto-screenshot from out amazing adventure game "Zombie Field Trip" ( its harder than you think to make an isometric Flash 'engine' )
  23. The main drawbacks of realtime combat Atleast half the combat rules of the PnP game goes out the window because it cant be translated to realtime The tactical aspect of the combat disapears almost completely and is replaced by twitch elements. NOT necessarily FPS combat but more like "attack, attack, press health potion shortcut, attack, press mana potion shortcut, press special attack button, press magical wand shortcut button" The main villain in the death of turn-based combat is as usually, Diablo.
  24. It depends if its an IP or a franchise. If its an IP then the publishers usually owns EVERYTHING, from the doodles of the koncept artists to the patented "technology X" engine and every idea the designers put on paper during development. ( yes, the dev studio basicly sell their souls to the publisher ) If its a franchise then they own everything except that which is part of the license that they bought which is still the property of Warner Bros. if its a Matrix game and so on
