And for some stuff which is out-of-print without a TPB in sight, such as "Automatic Kafka", the internet is your only hope. I dont think its wrong to download comics that are no longer for sale except for exorbitant prices on ebay, a second-hand copy is as bad for the authors as a pirated one because they get paid for neither one.

Well-stocked comic&paraphernalia shops should have it. I think they do their own importing though. I order or buy from this boutique in the old town in Stockholm. There is a comic shoppe in Visby where I go to Uni but its run by some retarded 14yearold that only sells manga. You also have to consider the requirements of, and the nightmare of working with console companies. A straight-up port of NWN2 to Xbox might very well end up with gameplay so slow that Microsoft would demand it to be simplified. Further complicating things would be the fact that Microsoft would demand the 360 version to be considered the "primary" version after which the PC release would have to adapt. Complex games invovling long hours of playing and strategy is and will always remain PC territory not to mention the extra time it takes to make a console port.

I bet I could benchpress every person who has ever visited this forum including the entire OE and Atari staff at the same time. You would just have to bunch up so I could get a decent grip.

Microsoft initially counted on selling 10 million units for christmas 2005, they didnt even come close and so now theyre talking about 10million units for the entire year of 2006. From a two month sales window to 14 is not very good. Still the original Xbox sold 24million units worldwide from its release in 2002 to summer 2006, so perhaps the 360 will outsell it after all I still hope it all goes in the crapper though )

I heard that Feargus made them convert it to a Sudoku system insteaf of Tetris because he likes that so now each item has numbers and you have to fit them into your inventory so it all matches up and if you get it wrong you die because the god of numbers will be upset and divide you by zero so you disapear into the realm of mathematical theory forever

The Wii stands and falls with the controller, since that is the only thing that separates it from the old gamecube. Im hoping for another "Crash of 84" for the video game industry or atleast a recession. We know that Microsofts 360 sales did not even come close to their goals, we know that Sony has had severe financial problems. And unless the Wii becomes the smash hit Nintendo are counting on, they will be in trouble even with their cash-cow the DS

I hope the NexGen consoles prove to be as much of a flop as it seems. Hopefully, the Wii will be crushed when its released and people realise the fantastic new control system completely lacks precision and control

I have discovered "Y The last Man" a bit late but still, Its a great comic and a refreshing break from the mutants, superheroes and jedi which occupy 99% of the market. Pia Guerra is also as proffessional a penciller as they come, the quality of the artwork is high quality without even the slightest slipup. Not like other comics where every other issue seems to have been left to the office interns. Other News: The new "Star Wars: Legacy" is onto issue #2 and it stinks. Billy Idol lookalike Cade Skywalker is chased aroun the galaxy by the fearsome crab-mutant Darth Crate, there is also some random Jedi and a chick with blue hair. The new and improved "Knights of the old Republic" is better although it occasionally suffers from the usage of pencillers which presumably are in the later stages of whatever it is that Michael J. Fox has got. Also, new lady death preview "blacklands" actually comes with more covers than comic pages. Maybe they should just give up the pretense of it being a real comic and just do swimsuit issues from now on.

Some games just dont work gameplay-wise on consoles even if it would be technicly possible to port them, bestseller or not. And given the fact that 99% of console owners also have a PC to play on, its not really necessary.

Buying a mini-DV now wouldnt be a very good idea as the format is becomming obsolete as HD cameras* are becomming available for less than $1000. Wether it uses tape or a hardrive doesnt matter. * HD as in HDTV, not hardrive

CrystalPlayer or whatever its called has some of those built-in, I think? Anyway, I got quite the shock when I plugged in my old 21" CRT so I could watch random filmclips and things on it while I "work". The quality of the image on that compared to my LCD screens was absolutely stunning! I tried it with three of them (an old 17", my acer 15" widescreen and a HP 19") and it looked like an amateur dvdrip on them but godly on the CRT

I would go for the 20" without a second thought. Widescreen is for televisons, not monitors, because the only thing theyre good for is to watch widescreen films and film on an LCD screen is badness because it completely screws up the quality unless the film happens to be in the exact same resolution as the screens native resolution (which it wont)
