Lincoln might die, you don't want to miss it. Plus, Kree in the flesh. Also, my girl White Canary taking three shots of 17th-century Scotch in ten seconds, Legends of Tomorrow.

I was going to say wearing flip-flops to the range.

Burritos and Enchiladas are where it's at. Banana leaf-wrapped hot tamales make me feel like I never thought I could.

I am contractually obligated to watch Episode IV on May 4th, although I mixed it up this year, counting recurring themes. John Williams' musical 'Force Theme' occurs ten times in Episode VII ... nineteen times during the original. TIE fighter screen wipes, two each, IV and VII. Mention of the word, 'scum' ... once, both films (scum and villainy, scavenger scum). Finn, also known as Stormtrooper FN-2187 ... shares the same number as Princess Leia's cell aboard the Death Star: 2187.

Would love lording the least bit of something over anyone, but the watercooler colleagues I collude with don't speak my language, much less know of Frost, Tolkien, or Gaiman. So I come here, where everything's fine. Thanks for some recommendations.

It's coincidence, but I can see why people believe in fate. Travis Benjamin and Jatavis Brown are four years apart, grew up on the same street in Florida two houses down, and now play for one NFL team. Reuniting college teammates ... Josh Lambo and Drew Kaser, kicker and punter from Texas A&M, together again professionally. Josh Perry and Joey Bosa from Ohio State and the same side of the ball, drafted by the same team in the same weekend. Maybe if you get enough positive coincidence in one room, it becomes something else, like, fate.

Darmok and Jalad, when the walls fell -
Yay, a deadline with Pacific Daylight, I get so tired of translating Eastern Standard.

No more Supergirl Mondays, so I watched Dredd instead. General Hux is unrecognizable.

we can't do that for tv shows... which is kinda funny when you consider how many "disappointment-watching" seasons o' white sox, blackhawks, bears, bulls and notre dame football and basketball that Gromnir has endured over the years. is particular amusing in regards to the white sox as we gave up on MLB after the strike year and then white sox actual improved and eventual won a world series. but for tv shows we gots near zero patience for disappointment. heck, we stopped watching snl in 1995. replace phil hartman with chris elliott? no... just, no. ain't been a regular viewer o' snl since 1995. HA! Good Fun! Oh good, was afraid Gromnir were curiously anti-preferential. Course, I could probably use a lesson in bringing it down, not wearing face paint and a foam finger to the forum every day.

Okay, prepped for next week's arrival of Wade Wilson and Nathan Drake. One is a wise-cracking gunslinger, the other is Deadpool.

Project Louisiana? (not Fallout-related)

Pretty sure that's a depiction of Batman and Superman versus Doomsday. -
Friday, had a chorizo breakfast burrito with egg, potatoes, cheese, sour cream, no beans. Montezuma said, this is my revenge. Today during the draft, I snacked healthy with jalapeño bean dip instead of ranch, but his vengeance was only magnified.

Episodio VII La Fuerza ... los Jedi ... todo verdad.

Well if I thought free agency was electric, the draft exploded in sparks. Now I gotta scour the burn marks off the walls and ceiling. Breaking news, during a live local interview, team GM announced franchise punter Mike Scifres will be released next week ... thirteen-year veteran, all-time leader, most-tenured player. Awesome guy, too, bummed to see him go. At least the team had the decency to inform Mike prior to drafting his replacement Drew Kaser in the sixth round today.

JHBCC has a nice ring to it. Bring cosplay to the continent, Bruce, I believe in you.

If only Fingers crossed Fouts forgive me, but back in junior high I had posters in my bedroom of Danny White and Tony Dorsett keeping watch over me under my Cowboys blanket and team logo trash can in the corner which I never put trash in because it was Dallas and Coach Landry would not approve. Also Rafael Septien had the coolest name for any player ever.

Ike Taylor and Lynn Swann, I'm still cracked up. Another good day, positional versatility and 'love of the game' are clear prerequisites. Hunter Henry sounds like a superhero's alter ego, which is what it'll take to replace Antonio Gates. Four hours of chips and dip ... should probably snack healthier tomorrow.

Nevermind the Captain, I suspect the Lawton twins fairly prevailed the contest by opening a lane for good Mr. Gillis. -
That was fun. I approve. Welcome and congratulations, jbbigbear. GM said Bosa was their highest-rated choice since September.

La Force! French dub, Episode VII. Ren's voice is more menacing, so is Hux ... their previously bouffant playground spat graduates to a genuine Marseillean dispute. Rey's alternate is adequate but can only pale in the shadow of Daisy. Although Young Rey's final scream during the Vision made me lose it. Best bit is 3PO ... the camp, golden droid translates perfectly. Even Phasma is measurably more badass, sorry Gwendoline. I estimate my French-to-English comprehension ratio is 0.00033, but of course the ideas of loss, love, and laser cannons are universal. Next viewing will be in Spanish. ¡Viva El Force!

Killer Frost, no! NO!

So wide open, now I'm being told Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley may go third. Windswept Chicago gossamer, mist, rain, fireflies, firegnats, have no idea:
