Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
For what it's worth, we use dates like "4th quarter 2014", or 4Q14 for short. I wish the window was the last three months of the year, but I think they are literally referring to the final ten days of 2014, after December 21, when winter officially begins.

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
Cursed godlike paladin, stalking Defiance Bay's seedy taverns, gutting as many Cat Druids as are foolish enough to leave their stank holes. Sounds good.

No romances confirmed
Never wanted a Bio-mance or Romeo's Juliet, just a nice, tawdry, illicit affair, tactfully implemented with an edge that when crossed, could reduce my character to a pile of ash, same as a mage's spell.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
As if the Panzerfaust wouldn't track its way over there like a guided missile cruiser with orders to destroy insurgents.

Cigarette and health
How about telling us something we don't know, like if nicotine vapor actually increases addiction rates.

No romances confirmed
See, three-year olds.

That is not helping.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Not now. Now it's just going to be a clinical expedition with no feeling. All stats, no connection.

No romances confirmed
The fervor of the anti-romance crowd is what makes this decision so annoying. I don't care about romances nearly as much as I hate seeing a roomful of three-year old twits get their way.

What are you playing now
Does it feel worth a subscription? That is super hard to say. It feels like I will get a good 40-60 hours of it, like I get out of every Elder Scrolls game. But I always peter out on the single player games after a month. So I think it is worth the box price and I will enjoy the first month, and I will see where I am at after that. Apparently more than $200 to play that game for the first year ... whew, much cost, very money, wow

New Interview with Josh Sawayer
This only makes sense in hindsight. The first thing Obsidian could have done after receiving 400% is an update pushing Spring '14 out the window. They did not, and in the last week, four different news outlets printed articles saying PoE will not release in April.

Glass Armor Crafting Skill: 100. This Polygon opinion makes a good case for the success of Skyrim being the best argument against ESO. I had not heard that twenty million copies of Skyrim were sold as of June, 2013. That is a lot of dragons.

The Dangers of Certainty
I wonder about preference. Wouldn't her "same thoughts and actions" repeat because the malfunctioning short-term is essentially making cache requests into long-term storage, into some other brain space imprinted with our individual amalgam of preference and taste ... words, phrases, colors, disposition. With variable input, maybe those cache requests are attempting and failing to read to short-term, until it just "resets" (whatever that means). For that matter, why is it so scary all this really is the Matrix and I have actually no choice in anything ...

Pushing the release date forward
Where, when, show me even one of the thousand. *Points to OP of this thread* What... you said "one." Yes, exactly, today's eurogamer news is the first time Obsidian has said April is no longer a launch window.

Pushing the release date forward
Well I missed it, wherever it was said April was off the table. I saw the Eurogamer thing today and was genuinely surprised. Not annoyed or disappointed, just surprised. Okay maybe a little.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Today's new Thief trailer sold me. Need something good, since ACIV was a constitutional disappointment.
