KOTORFanactic replied to Senator PalpaTANG's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Forst off, PalpaTANG posting something useful. Yeah Right. Secondly, I would rather see him impaled on a rusty spike, and banned. So true P.S. Lock this thread and ban PalpaTANG -
Bastila Shan vs Anakin Skywalker
KOTORFanactic replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yep after all, we hav been discussing whos style would win them the day. Anakins powerful attacks style, or Bastila's precison style. Discussing which is superior does at least remain on topic in part. But pls dont go 2 far off topic, and start talking bout it all the time in the movies and books. Pls make references to Anakin and Bastila -
Do poor PC Gamers at least get a demo?
KOTORFanactic replied to Fearless_Jedi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I will answer that for u now This answer is from AkariQuestion answered -
True so if we ever do see a KOTOR movie it will be when cinemas and movies become interactive, or when LA decides to decide everything itself about the main character(Revan gender/face etc). So a KOTOR movie seems to be very unlikely
-
precisely If Revan falls to the DS, even if u choose hm to be LS, what is the point of making him LS
-
Dont worry, I forgive u. I just see my idea possibly coming to pass one day (like i say, it problably wont, but it problably might) since things in our small pathectic world are slowly becoming more and more interactive. Whos to say it wont happen to cinema one day.
-
Perhaps not soon for my CGI thing, but in a good few years perhpas. 10 years or so. And by then, my idea may b able to be done in cinemas. Not saying it will, but it could happen.

Do you want Star Wars RPG games to keep on coming?
KOTORFanactic replied to DSLuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Agreed, there time has past, it is now the time of heroes like Bastila and Revan -
I am not so critical of mr Lucas. A CGI movie for KOTOR would be incredible, but not in between KOTOR and TSL. It should be based on the games themselves. (This is copied and pasted from a previous post) Well, i hav an idea for a Revan/KOTOR/KOTOR2 movie. Unfortunately, my idea prevents a release at the cinema, and will only work on dvd, but here me out. Instead of an official face/storyline, it is done just like the game. You choose the face, gender etc. You do not choose the dialogue, and what happens in the story up to the point on top of the Rakatan temple.(unfortunate, but neccesary) but you do choose whether your character becomes lightside and darkside on top of that temple. Doubt a KOTOR movie will ever be done, but if one is done, this might help them out.

I will now begin praying for your immortal soul No prob bout JarJar and Vrook but the others, really. Bastila should return for sure, as i hav already stated. So should Revan. We already know HK-47 and T3-M4 r in, so i am happy bout that Other possible cameos would come from Carth. (who u might meet on Telos) Jolee, who i would like to see at least once. Zaalbar and Mission may come into it. Though if they do, it will most likely only be in a very small cameo. Canderous seems to be a definate, since no matter what u do in original, he survives. Juhuni i do not think will return, since her story seems done.
-
To become that powerful might just ruin the game i think. At least if it was done very early in the game. Perhaps in the last dozen half areas, but not very early in the game.
-
Well, perhaps the mining station has a large darkside aura (much like Dagobah, which is why Yoda hid there) so that masked her presence. P.S. Kreia hasnt lost her connection to the force, or she wouldnt be teaching u to reconnect to it later in the game

Whats with the Silence?
KOTORFanactic replied to DarthRevan987's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What he said -
I hav heard that each NPC has a special feat unique to them. Perhaps the floating orb is the Zabraaks special feat.
-
About 2-10 years after KOTOR2 so that it has a feeling of continuity, and it feels like a real trilogy.
-
Currently Unknown as far as i know

Whats with the Silence?

Silence is golden, but 2 much of it is just plain annoying. Basically LA silence is just annoying now. -

I think we will get some new info soon enough. If not inn October, then certainly in November. The new box art and acreenshots, despite being very good, are quickly not becoming enough. We really do need new character or planet info. -
What made KOTOR so good....

Agreed. In most RPGs i played before KOTOR, there was always a few areas that were absoltuely impossible to beat, so i either forgot about the game, or used a cheat for it. I would like KOTOR to be a little more difficult, but not by much. Far as i know, they hav based the force heal power on something (i think it is heal ability using medpacks) so the heal force power becomes slighty more limited.

Bastila Shan vs Anakin Skywalker
KOTORFanactic replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I hav to agree with Bastila vs Anakin in technique. Bastila's more elegant technique could easily defeat Anakin's strength and power and attacks. When Anakin faced Dooku in Ep2, he most likely hadnt reached his full power then, and he did rush in head first, so that gave Dooku all the advantage he needed. Along with Dooku's superior dueling skills, Anakin was beaten before the battle began. It is the same with Bastila in KOTOR, she was only around 19-20 so she most likely hasn't reached her full power in the force. She also rushed headlong into Malak on the Leviathan to save Revan. Malak was superior to Bastila on the Leviathan. So that battle was over before it began. Both haven't reached their full potential, but with Bastila and Ep2 Anakin, Bastila's more precise attacks would simply break through Anakin's defence and gut him. By the time of Ep3, Anakin's power will hav increased dramactically, but Bastila's power would hav increased dramactically by KOTOR2. So I beleive that this means Bastila could take out Ep3 Anakin. -
Again with these bloody saberwhips They are useless They just wouldnt work in normal physics On topic Those r good. Admittedly KOTOR did fail in some areas of gameplay, and ur suggestions could help it alot Ivan. Problem is, i hav no idea how they would fit that kinda scale into KOTOR2 without a massive amount of extra work.

Bastila Shan vs Anakin Skywalker
KOTORFanactic replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
True true, and in these forums we discuss them In the end, Anakins ability to resist would be based on his willpower, which he ceratinly has a lot of, but something of which Bastila has a lot of to. It comes down to a war of attrition, who coud last longer. However this is just one possible scenario between Anakin and Bastila. There r many others.
