I think some "gamers" are clearly not very clear in their mind. A game designer designs a game how he want period. Do you ever challenged the rules of monopoly, chess or other gamers where you didnt have a forum to tell a whole story of how you think about "responsibility" ? ergh... f****ng internet made gamers into a bunch of idio+s imo. Not that i mean anyone specific but this topic alone is a prime example...

yes. We can import / export complete PC´s from Badgers Trade into PoE and back. Just some items might be problematic because of general balance you know. I asked that too, and Zelda gonna rock tomorow.

@Zwiebelchen I understand your point but doesnt share it at all. People play PoE with more in mind then just the the optics of charakter creation. I think barbers suck in games, i think that make up stuff sucks even more. Not that i think the models can be improved. Everything can be maxed out. Even poser 5 Victoria model can be upgraded to 2 million tris. That said, the impression of the model you created will be forgotten very quickly once you entered the game world. Your focus will just shift into what the game is designed to be. You are very manipulated by other games, thats why you think the "models" should be like this or that. You are biased because of stuff from others, not letting the devs do what they have in mind imo. Thats why there are so many comparisons.

I think the models look very good and balanced. They design them to 99 % for the ingame view... that in mind the models rock ! But people focus on only one thing, pick that out and judge it without it in full context of the game... nothing new to me....

I wouldnt get my hopes up about a custom campaign... but at least there is day dreaming about it. But the chance of adding little side quest with scripted NPC´s (quest givers) and encounters etc. in existing areas might be an option. I think the custom content creation (new models, areas or assets) aspect is from what we know by now out of our possibilities.

In old IE games you (((CANT'T))) level up your main skills killing NPCs or via XP. Only in IWD2, and is for the fake D&D3º rules... Go inform yourself. Realy ? I dont remember that i had some kind of special XP´s that were separated from the ordinary XP´s. What nonsense. But i check it out if there were 2 different experience point shemes. one for leveling up and one for the fun....ungh... all the XP´s of the red dragon were just for de fun...

Havent played the Beta but the older infinity engine games made no sense in terms of gaining XP trough just killing monsters. Because how do you explain to raise your Charisma leveling up ? What had an increase of charisma to do with slaughtering of wildlife and creatures ? It is the old and new D&D system without sense. so i think it´s a new idea and somehow I like it. It´s not so violent and the only thing that makes sense in giving away XP for killing or fighting stuff was in Quest for Glory games!

I dont know what everyone loves...how can i know ? hmm let me think hard... to be a king ?... no! to be a virgin again ? hmm, NO! to win lots of millions in a lottery ? YES, YES thats it. Yes, size does matter. If you had the misfortune at least one time in your life to came across some strange wet place that just looked at you and asked "already started or or what? then you know size does realy matter. So the weapons are pretty realistic in their "size". At least what you use in combat... But how long a man like bolt has to have does depends on the woman of course. What happens in sweden happens everywhere in europe btw. You cant win a new specific audience with a game like this... it already has an audience. But i agree that talking about it on steam or gog forums might help but in the end it´s a niche game. All of infinity games are niche today just because of their style. Most of the younger people go with the present time only and thats what they care about. It´s some sort of group dynamic and that hasnt changed that much. Bioware is doing POP games, EA loves POP stuff because it´s average or casual or whatever you want to call that and it makes a lot of money. Nothing new to me. Halflife for example was a niche game that was so unique that it started a new mainstream trend of games. And it was great, one of the best FPS games ever created. So it´s better to stay in the niche and be real as to be mainstream and be just a trend that comes and goes.
