Of course, taking a look at median household income disparity by race reveals that the issue is somewhat more complex than "well white people can be poor, too, so checkmate SJWs". I have one problem with that and that it's based on MEDIUM because their is a huge difference in numbers of population. Another thing is all the info I can find doesn't have a total listing but a sample. I wish I could find something that had total population and the figures, figure the IRS would have something.

Here is my standard teacher example for this situation. In my classroom, equity is more important than equality. Everyone is going to enter the class at different levels. My goal is not to move each student forward individually, my goal is to drag as many of them across the finish line as possible. That means some students are going to get more attention. My advanced students will be expected to help pull some people along with them. That is how we work as a community towards a successful goal. The whole idea that we are broken into white and black communities is a major problem. It's a flaw as an American if you think it is not your problem that we have minority communities struggling with poverty, education, etc. It keeps our country from being Great Again, as our illustrious leader likes to say, because we are not succeeding as a whole. Now I am sure some people will read that and say it sounds like socialism or some other -ism, but in reality it is just about empathy. IM' not talking about policy at all, but actually trying to understand that we all have obstacles and it is both easier and decent when we work together to overcome them. I agree it is difficult because of generalization and the amount of different people. I think we separate them but fail to see that both sides are dealing with same problems just different looks. I'll give examples. Blacks have their ghettos and whites have there's but u call them trailer parks. You'll find both whites and blacks in each. Poor man deadly drug for blacks, it's crack. Poor man deadly drug for whites is meth. Both blacks and whites suffer poor and dangerous living conditions that are rampant with drugs. Both areas have atmosphere of despair and never leaving with both having low education in each. Also morals and ethics are low in each as well because there's more to gain and survivability. Hell when people say Jim Crow, they automatically think aggression towards blacks, but why does no one say or talk about alot of the same aggression towards poor people. It is very complex because u have the poor pitted against each other for years and then u have to take in account upbringing, locations, etc. One thing that both parties (and I would swing Democrat for alot of issues but not so much now) is trying to force and keep that wedge between. To much opposition that both sides and I'd date say the Democrats are taking the lead bc of HOW they are going about it. As to how to stop the racism part because its connected to other problems is I'd date say what Morgan Freeman would say https://youtu.be/z2d2SzRZvsQ

Also I'm surprised that here in murica we only talk about the black slaves and never mention the Irish and Chinese slaves....wait they are to close to white, that's why huh?

Are you saying it's okay for a race of people to be racist against another race of people so that a political party can still garner votes and support?

From the second paragraph, it seems like it's up to the employee and that it prohibits trying to stop someone from chosing more pay than the time.

I wouldn't say it is necessary. In many cases, authority is respected regardless of actual law. Take churches: very, very few will interrupt those speaking not because some law prohibits it, but people don't end up shouting. The reason for this is the "authority of the place", to speak so. An authority not attributed to a specific person (or even actually a specific place), but enshrined to certain types of places, protected by society and its norms. So I don't think that for most people, the existence or nonexistence of such a law change so anything about their behaviour. The only reason why in churches for the most part and in librarys I was quiet was because there was a punishment for not doing so. Why I was quiet in class, why I was respectful to old people and people of authority, there was always a consequence for not doing so. After time goes on, that knowledge of "something bad is going to happen if I don't do so" is at the core why alot of places and people I am respectful towards. It works and that's why I'm on the fence with this. With the circus that's replaced Barnes and Bailey circus here in USA, I can see things proceeding farther than they need to be, but how to do so? Fines for laughter I'm iffy about, because if it's allowed there, what's to stop it from happening elsewhere? What would be the appropriate type of deference instead?
-
Problem is, how do u make people respectful and/or quiet if it isn't law? Putting out there that I find this a wtf moment about being fined for laughter, only hoping it's a case of her history and someone finally having enough and doing something. But then again, it comes back to wtf are we fining people for laughter?

Your right, but at the time it was a "take care of us before them" mentality. Unemployment being low and then u have a bunch of companies trying to ride the wave of "compassion" for foreign cheap labor. Both sides throwing up tear inducing pictures of down on their luck refugees/soldiers. Where the gesture means more than the actual results.

Since he was on his way out the door, could have very well been the pre-planned fall guy. Believe the whole outrage was bc we was having huge unemployment problems but being sweeped under the rug and media saying that unemployment was at a low but in reality it was because they were only counting who was on unemployment. Coupled with the fact that unemployment benefits got overhauled (here at least) that u can only be on it for 6 months tops instead continuing over some years. I remember seeing the CEO statement for refugees over vets, but didnt really believe it bc I read it on FB and we all know u can't believe much of what you see there.

There's lots of good romances in all types of games, thing is they are usually good because they don't involve the player and are between NPCs.

sometimes it's more comfortable to rely on old info instead of being challenged is why I see people hanging onto old info. Sometimes we class data with ethics and traditions. Somehow people think that just because they don't accept things, will somehow keep it the same in their head and world. I can see some info not really mattering if someone accepts or not (like Pluto not being a planet though it will always be in my head, it was my favorite growing up lol) And I think right now, if it doesn't effect me, I don't really care if it gets changed. Its a good thing that info changes, means it's not stagnant. Sometimes people just don't want the waves. And sometimes things need to be challenged again to see if it's proven false.

Took family to go hike at hanging rock, there was much gnashing and wailing but weather was beautiful and cool. Yesterday for daughter's birthday, we went to an indoor skydiving place. Everyone had a blast cept my oldest who keep looking down the fence floor lol. Surprising a bit of a workout if u don't normally stretch your arms and legs backward alot.

Plus having the overall media scrutinized and blow up your every move (good and bad) I think adds into it. At least Obama and Bush didn't have it anywhere near as bad. Also I think he was assuming that he would be in charge of making decisions and people would follow them instead our govt works as everyone is opposed to everything and anything getting done

redneckdevil replied to SonicMage117's topic in Computer and Console
Survival ark on PS4. Seriously, first game my son chose and bought and looks cool, but it's a broken mess. -
I'm sure my parents would be shuddering and have a breakdown if they remembered all the money they spent on those and all the ones I lost lmao

Alright I'll look some up for evidence. Most was what remembered going on thru the Obama era. Off the top of my head a few and I will look up actual links when I get home. Cities having a separate EBT type program specifically for illegal immigrants paid for by the state, while also giving access to Federal EBT. Religion wise for media, much better to be Muslim than any other religion. Remember a case won for some truck drivers that got fired for stopping OUTSIDE of their alotted breaks/lunches to pray. Also head garbs. Wear a head garbs and say its part of your religion, it's ok. Also where I work at, my friend doesn't have to work certain areas because of pork, funny because my Jewish friends usually has to work it instead lol. My friend tried the same thing and was told to suck it up. Dunno what else was said when he pressed, but dropped it completely. Under impression he would lose job. Sanctuary cities totally against Federal law, but still around with support from media. Overall vibe is to leave them be or else suffer the wrath of being labeled racist. Is it okay for the media to go into someone's records and change what someone's religion is after they shot up a campus simply because at the time tensions were high about refugees? Forcing states to accept refugees and pay for their housing, food, and bills for set amount of time? Not stopping a Muslim gang rape ring that is known for years because otherwise they will be labeled racists? When the USA Federal govt deletes the word "Islamic" from records of past terrorist attacks but leaves Catholic and Christian for past NRA bombings and church attacks and etc. For most Muslims I know, they reg people. They just people. It's a religion like any other and has good and bad apples. Don't put it up as something to tread lightly around, treat it like everything else. Also may seem like I have a thing against them personally which I don't. What I do have a problem with is giving special attention and ways and not giving access to others. I want everyone treated equally with all the good and bad that everyone else has. Otherwise we get this "victim" mentality that means we have to treat them different and better. **** that. Treat everyone just as good and just as bad all together. Things are getting better though, maybe. Time will tell if it really is or just the eye of the storm.
