What are you Playing Now? - Right Now at the moment edition
melkathi replied to melkathi's topic in Computer and Console
I bought Two Worlds 2 when it came out. Never really played it. Something bothered me in the initial feel. Maybe I'll have to try again after a full BruceVC rating has been given. -
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, Thread 2

I lost all interest when they said your character had another vampire inside their head. WOD has so much to offer, it doesn't need dumb gimmicks. -

And compression. Or lack thereof. Worried that Bokishi will run it at ultrahypersuperextraultraultra HD and a resolution of 192.000 x 108.000, some devs don't compress at all, to ensure best quality no naked eye would be able to identify. -

I have started work on my backlog. Thus I played through Robothorium. A rogue like with a robot rebellion fighting for robot rights. The writing was done by someone who's English isn't the best. It could have done with at least a community proof reading. It was interesting to see the robot I found the least interesting gameplay wise initially turn into my favourite in the end. I'd need to do another three runs to get all achievements, but I don't see myself doing that. It did get me to want to play though, unlike Fallout 4. More enjoyable than Fallout 4 - better love story than Twilight. -

We should do something about that. -
Should have called this character Bruce as well. The real Bruce would have gotten a giggle out of that.

Gaza - War does not determine who is right - only who is left

Well, if we accept the tit for tat logic and say what Isr@hell does is OK, then carpet bombing Telaviv would be fine. After all, the Mossad, IDF and their political leadership are hiding among civilians. A lot of israelis are armed and even have panic rooms (what normal civilian has one of those?) and isn't pretty much every adult a reservist anyway? But the pro-genocide hollowborn only apply that reasoning one way. No morals, no soul, no point arguing with them. They are Waidwen's Legacy at it's finest. -

The looking for jr thing works for me. Or I can pretend it does. I can make the logical choice. But typical Bethesda gives you a drive then forces you to ignore it. "They stole your baby! Now ignore it because NPC X can't put down a mattress on his own." -

I tried giving Fallout 4 another chance but I loath the settlement thing so much that I just can't play this. Uninstalled and moved from the RPG category to the Junk category in my Steam Library. The terrible writing about the Minutemen didn't help. WTF would I want to join an organization that is non-existent so I can do things that I could do just as easily without this organization that in fact I am the only person doing cr@p for? Classic case of writers deciding people need to care because the writers want them to, not because they gave them a reason to. -
My condolences, Hurlshot We had all wished for you to lose and be spared the consequences of your mistake of running for the HOA. I understand the frustration at the non participation of people who could have voted against you. Only solution now is to become an absolute tyrant and force them to organise a rebellion and overthrow you.

I have stopped replying to the french lady since she started sending me sexy photos. I don't feel comfortable with a virtual stranger sending me photos lying in bed. Went to the dentist the day before yesterday and he checked that the cap fits. It does. Now it is getting painted.* We got delayed a bit. The dentist flooded last weekend. This I did not smile with. Him I like. *I offered to paint it myself. Some Contrast paint and a quick drybrush should do it.

When I renovated my apartment, 4 neighbours caused me problems. Three of them simply because they are evil old men. Then one of them had his apartment flood. His storage room flooded, destroying all copies of his self-published books. Then, a year or so later, the apartment of the next old &\/\/@& flooded. The whole sewer emptied out on his wooden floor. Now, the third one's apartment flooded. So did his shop on the ground floor and the basement. I have been down lately and tired. But at least this I can smile with. I did tell them that eventually they'd get what was coming for them.

We are getting old. All those new, fancy names sound so silly. -

I am convinced they have a team watching movies and checking what villainous act they haven't done yet. I mean, tying people to the hood of a car was right out of MadMax 2. -

That's why they say it was a state in the middle east. I think it is more likely they own the company in Hungary. -
Watched the new Beetlejuice. Never watched the old one completely. Still could follow the movie just fine even without knowing references. Thumbs up for hanging out with a friend. Movie still wasn't my thing. Then again, only watched it to support "our girl" Ortega. Which surprised my friends who understood the concept that I do not watch things for political reasons (i.e. boycott) but never expected me to watch something they like for the same reasons

This analysis was quite good. https://youtu.be/1bvPqzsp9y0?si=xQszxQEvbhbDkcI7 tl;dw (too long; didn't watch) You don't need a lot of intelligence to guess who in Lebanon may have ordered a shipment of thousands of pagers. What you do need is a complicit state who holds the shipment at customs long enough for the Mossad to install the explosives on such a scale.
